Comberbach , deriving from the late Britonnic, or early Welsh for a "small confluence" is a civil parish and small village in the unitary authority of Cheshire West and Chester and the ceremonial county of Cheshire, England, between Northwich and Warrington. The population of the civil parish taken at the 2011 census was 953. The village has a new memorial hall (partly Lottery Funded), a bowling club, one pub - the Spinner and Bergamot, (the Drum and Monkey closed in 2013) - and a post office/village shop. There is a county primary school, a Methodist chapel and an old-fashioned red phone box. Cartoonist John Geering, the artist behind Bananaman, lived here. Comberbach Mummers perform the traditional Soulcaking Play (a form of mummers play), from 31 October for two weeks. It restarted in the mid-1980s. The mummers meet most Thursday evenings in The Spinner and Bergamot pub.

Antrobus is a civil parish and village in Cheshire, England, about 7 mi (11 km) south of Warrington. It lies within the unitary authority of Cheshire West and Chester, and had a population of 832, reducing to 791 at the 2011 Census, and to 767 in the 2021 Census. The parish is the most northeasterly point of Cheshire West and Chester, and as such borders both Warrington and Cheshire East. As well as Antrobus village centre itself, the parish includes other large hamlets at Frandley, about 1 mi (1.6 km) south-west from the main village, and Crowley, about 2 mi (3.2 km) to the north-east. The village shop and post office is owned and run cooperatively by the villagers for the benefit of the community having previously closed in 2003.

It was a Commissioners' church, having received a grant towards its construction from the Church Building Commission.

Whitley is a civil parish in the unitary authority of Cheshire West and Chester and the ceremonial county of Cheshire, England. It is surrounded by the parishes of Antrobus, Comberbach, Little Leigh and Dutton. It also borders Daresbury in Halton borough as well as Hatton and Stretton in Warrington borough. It is a small village located next to Antrobus. The civil parish was created on 1 April 1936 based on Whitley Inferior and Whitley Superior, now known as Lower Whitley and Higher Whitley.Whitley lies mostly in the northern part of a triangle of land bounded by the A49 (Warrington to Whitchurch) to the west, the A559 (Warrington to Northwich) to the east and the A533 (Runcorn to Northwich) to the south.

Little Leigh (formerly Leigh-juxta-Bartington) is a civil parish and village within the unitary authority of Cheshire West and Chester and the ceremonial county of Cheshire, England. It is situated on high ground on the north bank of the River Weaver; it is approximately 2 miles north of Weaverham on the A533 road and about three miles north-west of Northwich. The population of the civil parish taken at the 2011 census was 567.

Marbury Reedbed Nature Reserve is a 6-hectare (15-acre) nature reserve located at the western end of Budworth Mere, north of Northwich, Cheshire, England. It is managed by the Cheshire Wildlife Trust under lease from the Royal Society for Nature Conservation, which purchased the land by public subscription in 1934 as a memorial to the Cheshire naturalist Thomas Coward.The reserve, which is adjacent to Marbury Country Park, contains a range of habitats, with the reedbed, carr woodland and semi-natural broadleaved woodland demonstrating the various stages of hydrosere succession (a gradual change from open water to woodland). The open water contains a rich selection of plants, including water lilies, and provides valuable feeding and breeding habitat for kingfishers, little grebes and great crested grebes. The reedbed is almost exclusively composed of common reed and is a residence for summer birds such as reed and sedge warblers. In recent years the reedbed has been used as an over-wintering site by bittern, and the trust manages the reedbed for this secretive heron by cutting glades through the reeds to allow better feeding opportunities. The diminutive and shy lesser spotted woodpecker has also been seen occasionally in the reserve's woodlands.

It is one of three parish churches in the parish of Aston-by-Sutton, Little Leigh and Lower Whitley. The others being St Peter, Aston-by-Sutton and St Luke, Lower Whitley. Until 31 May 2013, the three were separate parishes united in a benefice along with St Mark, Antrobus
