Tsukishima

Tsukishima Station (月島駅, Tsukishima-eki) is a subway station in Chūō, Tokyo, Japan, jointly operated by Tokyo Metro and Toei Subway. The station opened on June 8, 1988.

The 1974 Mitsubishi Heavy Industries bombing (Japanese: 三菱重工爆破事件) was a terrorist bombing of the Mitsubishi Heavy Industries headquarters in Tokyo, Japan on 30 August 1974, killing eight people and injuring at least 376 others. The bombing was committed by the East Asia Anti-Japan Armed Front, a radical far-left anti-Japanese organization, against Mitsubishi Heavy Industries for supplying the United States against North Vietnam during the Vietnam War. The 1974 Mitsubishi Heavy Industries bombing was the deadliest terrorist attack in Japan until the Tokyo subway sarin attack in 1995.

Harumi (晴海) is a district of Chūō, Tokyo. The district contains five chōme (subdivisions), and the postal code is 104-0053. Harumi is located on reclaimed land, created by dropping earth and sediment generated from expanding Tokyo Bay. The construction took place starting in the middle of the Meiji era and was completed early in the Showa era. before an official name was decided for the district, it was called Tsukishima No. 4. The district was designated to host celebrations of the 2600th anniversary of the founding of Japan (by the mythical emperor Jimmu), but celebrations (scheduled to take place in 1940) were canceled due to Japan being at war with the Republic of China and the United States. The Olympic Village for the 2020 Olympics (postponed to 2021) is located in the 5th chōme of Harumi, at Harumi Futo.

Tsukudajima (佃島, "Tsukuda Island") is a small island in Tokyo Bay, facing Tsukiji to its west. Originally, Tsukudajima was a tiny island at the mouth of the Edogawa river in Tokyo Bay. It was inhabited by a fishing community who migrated from Osaka in early 1600s. It is home to the famous dish Tsukudani (佃煮). Next to it was built on reclaimed land the high-rise district of Tsukishima.

The Saint Luke's Tower (Japanese: 聖路加タワー, Hepburn: Sei Ruka Tawā) is a skyscraper located in Chūō, Tokyo, Japan. Construction of the 221-meter, 51-story skyscraper was finished in 1994.

Harumi Island Triton Square (晴海アイランドトリトンスクエア, Harumi-airando-toriton-sukuea) is high-rise office and residential complex in the Harumi district of Chūō, Tokyo, Japan. It consists of four towers, one of which is significantly shorter than the others; the three tall towers are the source of the name "Triton", and the total number of four is the source of the name "Square". Triton Square is located near Kachidoki Station on the Toei Oedo Line and Tsukishima Station on the Tokyo Metro Yurakucho Line.

The Kachidoki View Tower (勝どきビュータワー) is a mixed-use building in the Chuo special ward of Tokyo, Japan. Completed in August 2010, it stands at 192.2 (631 ft) tall.

St. Luke's International Hospital (聖路加国際病院) is a general and teaching hospital located in the Tsukiji district of Chūō, Tokyo, Japan. First opened in 1902, as a medical mission facility by the Episcopal Church in the United States, the hospital is now one of central Tokyo's largest and most comprehensive medical care facilities. It is operated as an adjunct to St. Luke's International University, an affiliated university of the Nippon Sei Ko Kai (Anglican Episcopal Church in Japan).

Kachidoki Station (勝どき駅, Kachidoki-eki) is a subway station on the Toei Ōedo Line in Chūō, Tokyo, Japan, operated by the Tokyo subway operator Tokyo Metropolitan Bureau of Transportation (Toei).

Hatoba Park (はとば公園) is a park along the Sumida River, northeast of Kachidoki Bridge, in Chūō, Tokyo, Japan.

The Cathedral of St. Joseph (Japanese: 聖ヨゼフ聖堂) also called St. Joseph's Church is the name given to a historic Catholic church, located in Tsukiji area, Tokyo, Japan. The temple was consecrated in honor of St. Joseph. It stands out as the first Catholic church in Tokyo. The church was founded by missionaries of the Paris Foreign Missions Society, which was established in Tokyo in 1871. On July 2, 1874, they bought a 900 square metre piece of land from the Japanese government and began construction, which was completed on November 22 of the same year. After this, the church became the center of Catholic missionaries who worked in Japan, especially in the north of Tokyo. In 1874, the bishop of Tokyo gave the church the status of cathedral and seat of the Apostolic Vicariate of Northern Japan (now called Archdiocese of Tokyo). In December 1874 began a restructuring of the temple, which ended on November 15, 1878. The Church of St. Joseph was the cathedral until 1920, when the local bishop moved to St. Mary's Cathedral, Tokyo.

The Century Park Tower (センチュリーパークタワー), also known as River City 21 M, is a residential building in the River City 21 building complex in the Chūō special ward of Tokyo, Japan. Completed in March 1999, it is 180 m (590 ft) tall. It is the 45th tallest building in Tokyo and the 66th tallest building in Japan.
