East Valley High School (Spokane, Washington)

Trentwood is a locale and former census-designated place (CDP) in Spokane County, Washington, United States, east across the Spokane River from Irwin. The population was 4,388 at the 2000 census. Trentwood joined the other unincorporated communities in the region to form the city of Spokane Valley in 2003.

It is about 9.5 miles away from NorthTown Mall in Spokane which is the largest mall in Eastern Washington. The current anchors are JCPenney and Macy's, and it includes a Regal Cinemas with 12 screens. The mall opened in 1997 featuring Sears, JCPenney, and The Bon Marche.On November 7, 2019, it was announced that Sears would be closing this location a part of a plan to close 96 stores nationwide. The store closed in February 2020.

East Valley School District encompasses approximately 100 sq mi (260 km2) in the City of Spokane Valley and areas of unincorporated Spokane County. Shelley Lake is a small lake located entirely in the city of Spokane Valley, in the U.S. state of Washington. The lake is surrounded on three sides by the 248 lot gated community of Shelley Lake Estates. The lake is kept full by Saltese Creek, which is supplied by drainage canals from the Saltese Flats. Although an open lake, there are no above-ground outflows.

Saltese Creek is an approximately 9 mi (14 km) long stream in Spokane County, Washington, United States. Originally only 3.5 miles (5.6 km), the lower 5.5 miles (8.9 km) of the stream, along with around 10 mi (16 km) of drainage canals were dug to drain Saltese Lake. The stream now functions as one of two primary inflows (the other being Quinnamose Creek), as well as the primary outflow for the Saltese Flats (the residual wetlands of the drained lake). The stream has its headwaters near the summit of Mica Peak and terminates at Shelley Lake, which was created as a result of draining Saltese Lake.

The locale is almost entirely split between the city of Spokane Valley and unincorporated Spokane County, with a small portion being located within the city of Liberty Lake. Greenacres retains its own post office.Greenacres has two schools in the Central Valley School District named after it; Greenacres Middle School and Greenacres Elementary School.

Ridgeline High School (RHS), often referred to as simply Ridgeline, is a comprehensive public high school for grades nine through twelve in Liberty Lake, Washington, United States. It is part of the Central Valley School District in Spokane County, and is one of three such high schools in the district along with Central Valley High School and University High School.
