German School of Oslo

Hegdehaugen is a neighbourhood in the borough Frogner of Oslo, Norway. It is located in the West End between Homansbyen and Majorstuen. The name origins from the man's name Heide.Urban settlement in the area started in the 1860s, and the neighbourhood was incorporated in the city in 1878.

Rosenborg, formerly Uranienborgveien is at tram stop on the Briskeby Line of the Oslo Tramway. It is located in Josefines gate, close to its street junction with Bogstadveien. It serves the neighborhoods Rosenborg, Hegdehaugen and Uranienborg in the West End of Oslo. The station is preceded and succeeded by Bogstadveien and Briskeby, respectively. The station used to be near the junction of Holtegata and Uranienborgveien streets, but it was moved towards Hegdehaugen and Rosenborg in 2009, after the line had been upgraded and reconstructed. In 2014, it was moved even further towards Rosenborg, and consequently renamed. In the same move, the former Rosenborg stop was replaced with the newly established Bogstadveien stop, situated further north, closer to Majorstuen.

Homansbyen is a tram stop located at Homansbyen in Frogner borough of Oslo, Norway. It is on the Homansbyen Line, a short line that connects the Briskeby Line and Ullevål Hageby Line of Oslo Tramway, and is served by line 19 using SL79 trams. This line is the shortest of the three tram lines that connect the city centre with Majorstuen. The city has planned to build a new rapid transit station for the Oslo T-bane at Homansbyen, but as of 2017 this has not been developed.

Hjelmsgate 3 is a self-managed social centre in Oslo, Norway. The wooden house was constructed in 1858 and from the late 1960s onwards it has been a central node in the Norwegian counterculture.

Kristelig Gymnasium (KG), founded in 1913, is a selective, private Christian college preparatory school located in Oslo, Norway. The school offers 3 years of college preparatory studies at the high school level, Videregående skole, offering advanced courses in sciences, languages, and social sciences, including introductory classes to business and law. In addition, grades 8, 9 and 10 (junior high school) is offered, with the courses mandated by Norwegian law. The school's students score the highest among all private Norwegian schools in national, standardized tests.Religion or bible study is a "required elective" for all students. The school has a Lutheran priest on staff, and daily bible studies held by students or faculty is broadcast on the public address system every morning, following daily news and information. All current students and alumni receives the biannual publication "KG-Nytt". The school is owned by Det Norske Misjonsselskap, Normisjon and Norsk Luthersk Misjonssamband.

The Barratt Due Institute of Music in Oslo, Norway, is a music education institute founded in 1927 by pianist Mary Barratt Due and violinist Henrik Adam Due. It is situated in Fagerborg in Oslo and is a private foundation which receives government funding for parts of its activities. The institute provides music education for many age groups, including infants and children, school-aged adolescents, and undergraduate and postgraduate students.The institute's motto is "From music kindergarten to concert podium," which sums up the philosophy that constitutes the foundation on which their education system is built. Children receive musical training from an early age, and students are offered education on undergraduate and postgraduate levels, preparing them for the professional musical career and arena. This education model has enabled Barratt Due to establish itself as an important institution and contribute largely to the Norwegian classical music industry at least for the past three generations. Stephan Barratt-Due is the Barratt Due's artistic director, and leads the institute's ensemble-in-residence, Oslo Camerata.

Bogstadveien is a tram stop on the Homansbyen Line and the Briskeby Line. It is served by lines 11 and 19. It replaced the stations, Rosenborg and Schultz' gate. Here branches off the Homansbyen Line (Line 19) and the Briskeby Line (Line 11). The stop is also served by Night buses 1N (Ullerntoppen - Jernbanetorget), 2N (Østerås - Jernbanetorget - Helsfyr - Furuset - Ellingsrudåsen - (Lørenskog sentrum) ) and 11N (Majorstuen - Jernbanetorget - Kjelsås).

Fagerborg Church (Fagerborg kirke) is located south of Stensparken at Fagerborg in Oslo, Norway.

Bislet Baths (Norwegian: Bislet bad) is a swimming pool and fitness center in Oslo, designed by the architects Harald Aars and Lorentz Harboe Ree. The facility is located in Bislett not far from Bislett Stadium, and it was completed in 1920.In 2011, the Norwegian Directorate for Cultural Heritage gave the building protected status. It was one of the country's most modern baths when it was built, and it was under municipal ownership until 2005. The Thongård company purchased the baths from the municipality for NOK 1 million and operates it as a bathing and fitness center.

St. Lars is a grill-restaurant in the borough Bislett in Oslo, Norway. It is owned by international TV-chef Andreas Viestad, Face2Face communications agency founder Per Meland and Stargate-producer Tor Erik Hermansen. The restaurant is known for using meat from horses and bear, and even pigs from Bygdø Royal Farm's petting zoo. Everything apart from their horse tartar has been cooked on a custom made grill. The cuisine is based on serving raw or grilled food with an emphasis on Norwegian produce and unusual cooking techniques. The owners have tried to bring some of the ambience from the New York-restaurant The Spotted Pig, owned by Hermansen's StarRoc partner Jay-Z, to their restaurant.On several occasions St. Lars has collaborated with winemaker and musician Sigurd Wongraven from Satyricon on special music and food weeks that has included dj-sets from artists like Knut Schreiner from Turbonegro.For Christmas 2012 St. Lars bought all the pigs from the petting zoo at Bygdøy Royal Estate and had them as their main attraction on their annual Christmas menu.

Schultz' gate station was a tram stop on the Oslo Tramway located in the Bogstadveien Street. It was preceded by the Majorstuen stop and succeeded by Rosenborg stop on the Briskeby Line. In 2014, the Rosenborg and Schultz' gate stops were merged with the newly established Bogstadveien, located between those stops.
