St. Lars is a grill-restaurant in the borough Bislett in Oslo, Norway. It is owned by international TV-chef Andreas Viestad, Face2Face communications agency founder Per Meland and Stargate-producer Tor Erik Hermansen. The restaurant is known for using meat from horses and bear, and even pigs from Bygdø Royal Farm's petting zoo. Everything apart from their horse tartar has been cooked on a custom made grill. The cuisine is based on serving raw or grilled food with an emphasis on Norwegian produce and unusual cooking techniques. The owners have tried to bring some of the ambience from the New York-restaurant The Spotted Pig, owned by Hermansen's StarRoc partner Jay-Z, to their restaurant.On several occasions St. Lars has collaborated with winemaker and musician Sigurd Wongraven from Satyricon on special music and food weeks that has included dj-sets from artists like Knut Schreiner from Turbonegro.For Christmas 2012 St. Lars bought all the pigs from the petting zoo at Bygdøy Royal Estate and had them as their main attraction on their annual Christmas menu.

Kristelig Gymnasium (KG), founded in 1913, is a selective, private Christian college preparatory school located in Oslo, Norway. The school offers 3 years of college preparatory studies at the high school level, Videregående skole, offering advanced courses in sciences, languages, and social sciences, including introductory classes to business and law. In addition, grades 8, 9 and 10 (junior high school) is offered, with the courses mandated by Norwegian law. The school's students score the highest among all private Norwegian schools in national, standardized tests.Religion or bible study is a "required elective" for all students. The school has a Lutheran priest on staff, and daily bible studies held by students or faculty is broadcast on the public address system every morning, following daily news and information. All current students and alumni receives the biannual publication "KG-Nytt". The school is owned by Det Norske Misjonsselskap, Normisjon and Norsk Luthersk Misjonssamband.

Bislett Stadium (Norwegian: Bislett stadion) is a sports stadium in Oslo, Norway. Bislett is Norway's most well known sports arena internationally, with 15 speed skating world records and more than 50 track and field world records having been set here. The original stadium was demolished in 2004 and construction of a new stadium was completed by the summer of 2005. The New Bislett Stadium was designed by C.F. Møller Architects.

Bislett is a neighbourhood in the St. Hanshaugen borough in north-central Oslo, Norway. It is internationally famous for the Bislett Games, held at Bislett Stadium. Bislett has also become known to non-Norwegians due to being the home of the fictional detective Harry Hole, whose exploits have been translated into numerous languages.

Oslo and Akershus University College (Norwegian: Høgskolen i Oslo og Akershus, abbr. HiOA) was the largest state university college in Norway from its establishment in 2011 until 2018, when it was transformed into Oslo Metropolitan University, the youngest of Norway's new universities. It had more than 20,000 students and 2,100 employees. HiOA had higher education programs at bachelor's, master's and PhD level. It offered studies and conducted research in health professions, social sciences, engineering, liberal arts, and other fields. HiOA was established in 2011 following the merger of Oslo University College and Akershus University College, which were themselves the results of many previous mergers. In 2014 the Work Research Institute and Norwegian Social Research were also merged into the institution, and from 2016 it also incorporates the Norwegian Institute for Urban and Regional Research and the National Institute for Consumer Research. Most of the university college was located in the city centre of Oslo along the Pilestredet street, with subsidiary campuses in Sandvika and Kjeller in Akershus.

Oslo University College (Norwegian: Høgskolen i Oslo; HiO) was the largest state university college in Norway from 1994 to 2011, with more than 18,000 students and approximately 1800 employees. Oslo University College merged with Akershus University College to form Oslo and Akershus University College in 2011, and this institution became Oslo Metropolitan University in 2018. OUC was established on 1 August 1994 when the Norwegian college system was restructured and 18 smaller colleges in the Oslo area merged. From the 2000s most of the school was located in the city centre of Oslo along Pilestredet street. The main campus was the previous Frydenlund Brewery near Bislett stadium. OUC offered the broadest portfolio of professional studies available in Norway. The language of instruction was Norwegian.

Oslo Metropolitan University (Oslomet; Norwegian: Oslomet – storbyuniversitetet) is a state university in Oslo and Akershus in Norway. It is the result of the merger of many former vocational colleges in the Greater Oslo Region. It has around 1,400 academic employees (of which over 150 are professors/research professors, the top rank in Norway), around 20,000 students and around 800 administrative support staff.Oslo Metropolitan University was established on 12 January 2018 and is the second youngest of Norway's new universities. It evolved from what was until 2018 Norway's largest university college, Oslo and Akershus University College, which was itself the result of many previous mergers of around 30 former vocational colleges and community colleges in the Oslo area. Most of the university is located in the city centre of Oslo along the Pilestredet street, with subsidiary campuses in Sandvika and Kjeller in Akershus. The rector of the university is Curt Rice.

Bolteløkka Skole (School) is an elementary school offering primary education from grades one through seven, located in Bolteløkka, Oslo. The campus was designed in Neo-Gothic style with Romanesque influence by state architect Holm Munthe, and opened in October 1898.

Stensgata is a tram stop on the Ullevål Hageby Line of the Oslo Tramway. It is located in Thereses gate in between of Adamstuen and Bislett, at the intersection of Thereses gate and Stensgata. It primarily serves a residential area. The station opened on 24 September 1909, when it became the stop before the terminus of the line, Adamstuen. It is served by line 17 and 18, using SL95 low-floor trams, giving the station step-free access to the vehicles. North of Adamstuen, the Ullevål Hageby Line is a light rail.

Adamstuen is a neighborhood in the borough of St. Hanshaugen in Oslo, Norway. It is located south of Ullevål University Hospital. It is served by Adamstuen Station of the Oslo Tramway. In the Summer of 2009, the uber-hip Monocle magazine featured Thereses gate (running through the heart of Adamstuen) as Oslo's most unusual street.

The Barratt Due Institute of Music in Oslo, Norway, is a music education institute founded in 1927 by pianist Mary Barratt Due and violinist Henrik Adam Due. It is situated in Fagerborg in Oslo and is a private foundation which receives government funding for parts of its activities. The institute provides music education for many age groups, including infants and children, school-aged adolescents, and undergraduate and postgraduate students.The institute's motto is "From music kindergarten to concert podium," which sums up the philosophy that constitutes the foundation on which their education system is built. Children receive musical training from an early age, and students are offered education on undergraduate and postgraduate levels, preparing them for the professional musical career and arena. This education model has enabled Barratt Due to establish itself as an important institution and contribute largely to the Norwegian classical music industry at least for the past three generations. Stephan Barratt-Due is the Barratt Due's artistic director, and leads the institute's ensemble-in-residence, Oslo Camerata.
