Aller Sand Pit

The Aller Vale Pottery was formed in 1865 on the northern edge of the village of Kingskerswell in South Devon, England on the likely site of a medieval pottery. It became well known for the creation of art pottery at the end of the 19th century and gained Royal patronage, but declined thereafter, closing on this site in about 1924. The name continued in use until 1962 related to the production of mass-produced motto ware for the tourist market.

Aller Park (also known as Aller) was a village in Devon, England, southeast of the town of Newton Abbot. The name is shared with the Aller Brook, which joins the River Teign at Newton Abbot. Today it is a suburb of the town, within Newton Abbot civil parish.

Milber is a housing estate at grid reference SX8770 considered part of the town of Newton Abbot in south Devon. It is on the opposite side of the A380 road from the town centre. Milber contains mainly houses, but also a trading estate and some shops. The estate is part of the electoral ward termed Buckland and Milber. The population at the 2011 census was 7,089. Its unusual 20th-century church of St Luke was built as a result of a dream experienced by William Keble Martin in 1931. It is partly circular in form with three naves and was completed in 1942. Some of the roads in Milber are named after trees - Hazel Close, Beechwood Avenue and Chestnut Drive being examples of this. The narrow, half mile-long, strip of Ben Stedham's Wood separates Milber from the suburbs of Aller and Newtake: the Iron Age hill fort of Milber Down is at the top of this wood.

Buckland Athletic Football Club is a football club based in Newton Abbot, Devon, England. They are currently members of the Western League Premier Division and play at Homers Heath.

Milber Down is an Iron Age hill fort on the hill above the suburb of Milber, Newton Abbot in Devon, England. The fort is situated on the north-western slope of Milber Down at about 110 metres above sea level, and is bisected by the minor ridge road that leads to Barton, Torquay. One Iron Age artefact discovered there was a figurine of a stag.

Forde House, now also known as Old Forde House, is a Grade I listed Jacobean former manor house in Newton Abbot, Devon, England. It was built in c. 1610 and is noted for its fine 17th-century wood-carving and plasterwork. Once the manor house of the parish of Wolborough, it is now absorbed into a suburb of Newton Abbot. The south front is clearly visible from the busy Brunel Road which cuts across the house's front lawn.

Coffinswell is a small village in South Devon, England, just off the A380, the busy Newton Abbot to Torquay road. It lies within Teignbridge District Council. Coffinswell has a church dedicated to Saint Bartholomew with a Norman font. Near the church is Court Barton, a manor house of partly 16th century date; the southern part of which was used as a court house by Torre Abbey. The village lies in a rural valley surrounded by farmland, and has many traditional Devon cob and thatch cottages. Lanes and tracks lead to the neighbouring hamlet of Daccombe and over the ridge towards Haccombe and the River Teign approximately 3 miles north over undulating land.

Kingskerswell (formerly Kings Carswell, or Kings Kerswell) is a village and civil parish within Teignbridge local government district in the south of Devon, England. The village grew up where an ancient track took the narrowest point across a marshy valley and it is of ancient foundation, being mentioned in the Domesday Book. It has a church dating back to the 14th century and the ruins of a manor house of similar date. The coming of the railway in the 1840s had a large effect on the village, starting its conversion into a commuter town. The village is a major part of the electoral ward called Kerswell-with-Combe. This ward had a population of 5,679 at the 2011 census.It was situated on a busy main road, part of the A380, between Torquay and Newton Abbot until the opening of the South Devon Highway in December 2015. There had been proposals to reroute this road to relieve the traffic bottleneck since 1951.

The Aller Brook is a stream that flows for 5.0 miles (8 km) through Devon, England. It is a primary tributary of the River Teign, which it joins near Newton Abbot.

Abbotskerswell Priory, on the outskirts of the village of Abbotskerswell, near Newton Abbot, Devon, England, was the home of a community of Augustinian nuns from 1861 until 1983. It has now been converted into apartments for retired people.

Newton Abbot railway station serves the town of Newton Abbot in Devon, England. It is 214 miles 5 chains (214.06 mi; 344.5 km) from London, measured from the zero point at London Paddington to the junction for the branch to Paignton. The station today is managed by Great Western Railway, who provide train services along with CrossCountry. For many years, it was also the junction for the branch line to Moretonhampstead and the site of a large locomotive workshop.
