Newton Abbot railway station serves the town of Newton Abbot in Devon, England. It is 214 miles 5 chains (214.06 mi; 344.5 km) from London, measured from the zero point at London Paddington to the junction for the branch to Paignton. The station today is managed by Great Western Railway, who provide train services along with CrossCountry. For many years, it was also the junction for the branch line to Moretonhampstead and the site of a large locomotive workshop.
