Bromley High School is a girls' independent school located in Bickley, Greater London. Originally located in the middle of Bromley, in 1981 it relocated to occupy new buildings set in 24 acres (9.7 ha) of grounds and playing fields. The Good Schools Guide describes the school: "Cool calm atmosphere pervades the corridors which are lined with notice boards announcing forthcoming events and successes. General impression is of a busy and active school."

Chislehurst Junction is an important railway junction near Chislehurst in the London Borough of Bromley, England. It is the point where the South Eastern Main Line and the Chatham Main Line pass over each other, with diversion chords between each line. The station is managed by Southeastern. There is a waiting room serving the two slow lines. The booking office, Oystercard readers, and ticket machines are all situated at footbridge level; this footbridge is always open to non-passengers.

Crofton Wood or Crofton Woods is Site of Metropolitan Importance for Nature Conservation and a Site of Special Scientific Interest in Crofton in the London Borough of Bromley. Kyd Brook goes through the Wood. It is a large area of ancient woodland on London Clay, which supports many types of trees, shrubs and herbs. Trees in the ancient wood are mainly oak and hazel, with a central area of former fields. It has high botanical diversity, including fourteen species of sedge, and a rich invertebrate fauna.The London Loop goes through the Wood, and there is access from a range of different points round the woodland.

The Daylight Inn is a Grade II listed public house at Station Square, Petts Wood, Orpington, in the London Borough of Bromley. It was built in 1935 for Charrington's Brewery, and designed by their chief architect Sidney Clark.The pub was named in honour of William Willett who came up with the idea of Daylight Saving and lived in Petts Wood. Long-standing legal restrictions meant that no other pub could be built within one mile. Until Wetherspoons opened The Sovereign of the Seas, Petts Wood only ever had one public house.

Chislehurst Caves are a series of intersecting man-made tunnels and caverns covering some 22 miles (35.4 km) in Chislehurst in southeast London, England. From the mid-13th to early 19th centuries the 'caves' were created from the mining of flint and lime-burning chalk. Today the caves are a tourist attraction and although they are called caves, they are entirely man-made and were dug and used as chalk and flint mines. The earliest recorded mention of the mines and lime-burning kilns above dates from a 9th-century Saxon charter and then not again until around 1232AD; they are believed to have been last worked in the 1830s.During World War I the caves were used as an ammunition storage dump associated with the Royal Arsenal at Woolwich. In the 1930s the tunnels were used for mushroom cultivation.

Chislehurst Common is an open space in Chislehurst in the London Borough of Bromley in south-east London. It is jointly managed with St Paul's Cray Common. The common was used for cricket matches in the 18th century. It was the home venue of Chislehurst Cricket Club which played several known matches against London Cricket Club from 1738 to 1741. Cricket is still played on Chislehurst Common as the Chislehurst and West Kent Cricket Club has its ground in the south-west corner of the common on Cricket Ground Road.

It is located 10.4 miles (16.7 km) south east of Charing Cross, bordering Elmstead to the north, Chislehurst to the north-east and east, Petts Wood to the south-east, Southborough to the south, Bromley to the south-west and west and Widmore to the north-west.
