Emory Grove Historic District

Druid Hills High School is a high school operated by the DeKalb County School System. It is located at 1798 Haygood Drive, in the Druid Hills CDP in unincorporated DeKalb County, Georgia, United States. It serves the Druid Hills CDP, the North Druid Hills CDP, and the North Decatur CDP.

University Park–Emory Highlands–Emory Estates is a historic district listed on the National Register of Historic Places in the Druid Hills CDP adjacent to Emory University near Atlanta, Georgia. The University Park tract broke ground in 1916 and consists of 65 houses along Emory and Ridgewood Drives. Emory Highlands was laid out in 1923 and consists of 58 lots along Burlington Road and Ridgewood Drive between University and North Decatur Road. Emory Estates was laid out in 1925 and consists of 73 lots on Emory Circle and Durand Drive. Houses here date from 1925 through 1943.

The Children's Healthcare of Atlanta - Egleston Hospital is a nationally ranked, freestanding, 295-bed, pediatric acute care children's hospital located in Atlanta, Georgia. It is affiliated with the Emory University School of Medicine and is a member of the Children's Healthcare of Atlanta system, 1 of 3 of the children's hospitals in the system. The hospital provides comprehensive pediatric specialties and subspecialties to infants, children, teens, and young adults aged 0–21 throughout the Atlanta region. The hospital features an ACS verified level I pediatric trauma center, the only in the state. Its regional pediatric intensive-care unit and neonatal intensive care units serve the region. The hospital also has a rooftop helipad for critical pediatric transport.The hospital is scheduled to be replaced in 2025 by the under-construction Arthur M. Blank Hospital in the North Druid Hills region of Atlanta.

Emory University Hospital is staffed exclusively by Emory University School of Medicine faculty who also are members of The Emory Clinic. Nell Hodgson Woodruff School of Nursing is the nursing school of Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia. The school awards the Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN), Master of Nursing (MN), Master of Science in Nursing (MSN), Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP), Doctor of Philosophy in Nursing (PhD). The school is named after Nell Hodgson Woodruff, wife of long-time president of The Coca-Cola Company Robert W. Woodruff. Mrs. Woodruff left nursing school when she married, but she supported nursing causes throughout her life.Two of the school's nursing specialties, pediatrics and midwifery, were highly ranked in U.S. News & World Report's 2012 edition of "America's Best Graduate Schools." The school's pediatric nurse practitioner program made its first appearance in the report at No. 11. The school's midwifery program remains in the U.S. News rankings at number 13.

Emory University School of Law is the law school of Emory University and is part of the University's main campus in Druid Hills, Atlanta, Georgia. It was founded in 1916 and was the first law school in Georgia to be granted membership in the American Association of Law Schools.

Lullwater House is the president's mansion at Emory University near Atlanta, Georgia, overlooking Candler Lake. It was built in 1926 as the residence of Walter T. Candler, son of Coca-Cola founder Asa Griggs Candler. The mansion is in the form of an L, in Tudor-Gothic revival style. The architects were Ivey and Crook. Candler named the estate Lullwater Farms. Horses were kept for racing. Cattle grazed on the fields. In 1958, Candler sold the house and land to Emory. In 1963, Sanford Atwood became the first president of Emory to take up residence in the mansion. Since then, Emory presidents have continued to live there when they hold that position. The estate should not be confused with Lullwater Estate, originally called Rainbow Terrace, the mansion built for Lucy Candler Heinz, Walter Candler and Asa G. Candler, Jr.'s sister.

The Emory University School of Medicine is the graduate medical school of Emory University and a component of Emory’s Robert W. Woodruff Health Sciences Center. Before it was established as the Emory School of Medicine in 1915, the school first began as the Atlanta Medical College. Founded in 1854 by a group of physicians led by Dr. John G. Westmoreland, the college began during unfavorable financial conditions along with competition of three other medical schools opening in the state, driving up competition for students. Despite these challenges, the Atlanta Medical College continued operation until August 1861 when classes were suspended due to the Civil War. Several years later, the College merged with the Southern Medical College, leading to the creation of the Atlanta College of Physicians and Surgeons in 1898. The College existed for 14 years before another merger took place, this time due to encouragement from the Council of Medical Education. The Council promised that if the Atlanta College of Physicians and Surgeons merged with the Atlanta School of Medicine, they would receive a Class A rating. After the merger, the American Medical Association began pressuring medical schools to align with universities in order to improve the quality of medical education nationwide. Just two years after the formation of the second version of the Atlanta Medical College, the College combined with Emory University, which was in its initial stages of development and sought to add medical education to its offerings. On June 28, 1915 the Emory School of Medicine was established.Emory University School of Medicine is located on the university's main campus in the Druid Hills neighborhood of Atlanta, Georgia. Emory University's Goizueta Business School (also known as Goizueta Business School, Emory Business School, or simply Goizueta – pronounced goy-swet-ah) is the private business school of Emory University located in Atlanta, Georgia, United States. It is named after Roberto C. Goizueta, former Chairman and CEO of The Coca-Cola Company.
