Janki Devi Memorial College (JDMC) is one of the women's colleges of University of Delhi. The college is located at Sir Ganga Ram Hospital Marg, New Delhi. The college is near the Karol Bagh Metro Station.

A fire began at a budget hotel in Central Delhi, the Hotel Arpit Palace, in the Karol Bagh area of the city, at around 4.30am on 12 February 2019, killing at least 17 people. The fire went through all floors of the hotel; people were seen jumping from it.

Karol Bagh Metro station, known as Drishti IAS Karol Bagh metro station, is a terminus station located on the Blue Line of the Delhi Metro. Karol Bagh is a residential and commercial area located at Delhi. This metro station of Delhi Metro was inaugurated in year 2005. Its adjacent metro stations on the Blue Line are Jhandewalan and Rajendra Place. The name comes under the new co-branding initiative by Delhi Metro Rail Corporation, under which brands can add their name, in this case the IAS Institute, to the metro stations in Delhi along with some advertising space provided to them at the metro stations.

Karol Bagh Lok Sabha constituency was a Lok Sabha (parliamentary) constituency in the Indian National Capital Territory of Delhi. This constituency came into existence in 1961. It was abolished after the recommendations of the Delimitation Commission were approved by the presidential notification on 19 February 2008. This constituency was reserved for the candidates belonging to the scheduled castes.

The Jhandewalan metro station is located on the Blue Line of the Delhi Metro.

Ajmal Khan Park is an urban park in the central part of the Karol Bagh of New Delhi, India . Spread over five acres, it was initially opened in 1921, named Hakim Ajmal Khan (1868–1927), noted freedom fighter and Unani medicine physician. It is adjacent to Tibbia College built by Hakim Ajmal Khan. The park has a statue of Ajmal Khan at the centre of the park, besides a musical fountain run by Delhi Tourism and Transportation Development Corporation. It has been a popular venue to numerous political rallies, holding a crowd of over 20,000 people.

The Ayurvedic and Unani Tibbia College, also popularly known as Tibbia College, is an institution under the Government of Delhi, located at Karol Bagh in New Delhi, India. The institution which offers education and training in Ayurvedic and Unani medicine, has its origins dating back to the late 19th century. The college, whose foundation was laid by Charles Hardinge, 1st Baron Hardinge of Penshurst on 29 March 1916, the then Viceroy of India and was inaugurated by the Father of the Nation, Mahatma Gandhi, on 13 February 1921, offers bachelor's (BAMS & BUMS) and masters (MD) degrees in Ayurvedic and Unani streams. On 15 February 2008, a 60-bed maternity and child block in Tibbia College Hospital, and the Delhi government announced about its intentions of developing the college into a university, in recognition of the college's contributions to Ayurvedic and Unani medicine.

Rajendra Nagar (often spelled unofficially as 'Rajender Nagar' or 'Rajinder Nagar') is a residential colony in Central Delhi, Delhi, India. The name comes from Dr. Rajendra Prasad, the first president of India. It is bordered by the Central Ridge Protected Forest on the east and south, IARI on the west, and Karol Bagh on the north. It is a constituency in the Legislative Assembly of Delhi. The current Councillor for the Municipal Corporation of Delhi is S.Paramjeet Singh Rana of the SAD-BJP (Ward No.102N). Durgesh Pathak of the AAP (Aam Admi Party) is the current MLA from Rajendra Nagar.
