Woodbine–Palmetto–Gates Historic District

The Madison–Putnam–60th Place Historic District is a national historic district in Ridgewood, Queens, New York. It includes 145 contributing buildings built between 1900 and 1920. They consist mainly of brick two story row houses with one apartment per floor and three story tenements with two apartments per floor. They feature brick facades and Romanesque Revival style detailing. Also included in the district is the Old Queens Labor Lyceum.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1983.

Grove–Linden–St. John's Historic District is a national historic district in Ridgewood, Queens, New York. It includes 51 contributing buildings built between 1908 and 1910. They consist of three story brick tenements with two apartments per floor. There are also a number of two- and three-story row houses with one apartment per floor. The buildings feature Romanesque Revival style detailing.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1983.

Ridgewood is a neighborhood in the New York City borough of Queens. It borders the neighborhoods of Maspeth, Middle Village and Glendale, as well as the Brooklyn neighborhoods of Bushwick and East Williamsburg. Historically, the neighborhood straddled the Queens-Brooklyn boundary. The etymology of Ridgewood's name is disputed, but it may have referred to Ridgewood Reservoir, the local geography, or a road. The British settled Ridgewood in the 17th century, while the Dutch settled nearby Bushwick. The adjacent settlements led to decades of disputes over the boundary, which later became the border between Queens and Brooklyn. Bushwick was developed rapidly in the 19th century, but Ridgewood remained sparsely populated until the early 20th century, when rowhouses were built for its rapidly growing, predominantly German population. Ridgewood has become more ethnically diverse since the mid-20th century. Large parts of the neighborhood are national and city historic districts. Ridgewood is patrolled by the New York City Police Department's 104th Precinct. It is represented by the New York City Council's 30th District.

The Forest Avenue station is a station on the BMT Myrtle Avenue Line of the New York City Subway. Located on a private right-of-way in Ridgewood, Queens, the station is served by the M train at all times. The station opened in 1915 as part of the Dual Contracts.

Topos Bookstore Cafe (also known as Topos Bookstore and informally as Topos Coffee) is a used bookstore and café in Ridgewood, Queens, New York City. In 2024, Time Out New York included the shop in a list of the city's best bookstore cafés.

Anthony Bleecker (October 1770 – 13 March 1827) was a lawyer and author who was a friend of Washington Irving and William Cullen Bryant.

St Mary and St. Antonios Coptic Orthodox Church (Coptic: Ϯ transliteration: ti.eklyseya en.remenkimi en.orthodoxos ente fi.ethowab Maria nem fi.ethowab Antonios) is located in Ridgewood, Queens and was the oldest Coptic Orthodox parish in Queens. It is one of the 287 Coptic Orthodox Churches in the United States.

Seneca–Onderdonk–Woodward Historic District is a national historic district in Ridgewood, Queens, New York. It includes 211 contributing buildings built in 1911–1912. They consist mainly of three story brick tenements with two apartments per floor. The buildings feature amber brick facades with burnt orange brick bases and trim.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1983.

St. Matthias Church is a parish of the Roman Catholic Church in the Ridgewood neighborhood of Queens County, New York, in the Diocese of Brooklyn. Its historic buildings include the parish church, completed in 1926, an Italian Renaissance Revival style, brick, stone, and terra cotta church with a gable roof which features a three-stage bell tower at the projecting center bay and Corinthian order columns. Also on the property are the contributing four-story rectory (1910), school (1909, 1913, 1950), and convent (1914).: 3, 8, 10–12  The entire complex was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2012.

Grover Cleveland High School is a large, comprehensive high school in Ridgewood, Queens. Grover Cleveland High School, Bayside High School, Samuel J. Tilden High School, Abraham Lincoln High School, John Adams High School, Walton High School, and Andrew Jackson High School were all built during the Great Depression from one set of blueprints in order to save money. The school is named after former US president Grover Cleveland.

Central Ridgewood Historic District is a national historic district in Ridgewood, Queens, New York. It includes 990 contributing buildings built between 1895 and 1927. They consist mainly of two-story, brick rowhouse dwellings with one apartment per floor. Buildings feature rounded bay front facades and the use of several shades of speckled brick.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1983. The area was given landmark status by the New York City Landmarks Preservation Commission in 2014.
