Grove–Linden–St. John's Historic District

St Mary and St. Antonios Coptic Orthodox Church (Coptic: Ϯ transliteration: ti.eklyseya en.remenkimi en.orthodoxos ente fi.ethowab Maria nem fi.ethowab Antonios) is located in Ridgewood, Queens and was the oldest Coptic Orthodox parish in Queens. It is one of the 287 Coptic Orthodox Churches in the United States.

The Gottscheer Hall is a German tavern located in the Ridgewood neighborhood of Queens in New York City. The tavern was established in December 1924 by the Gottscheer Central Holding Corporation to serve as a community hub of Gottscheers, a community of German settlers in the Gottschee region of Slovenia who moved into Ridgewood and Williamsburg at the turn of the 20th century. The original hall burned down five years later and was later rebuilt by local Gottscheer Germans. After Gotscheers were displaced from the Slovenian enclave after the start of the World War II, many resettled in Ridgewood, which at the time hosted the largest Gottscheer community in the world. As the venue's popularity solidified, the Gottscheer Central Holding Corporation opted to acquire a bigger space, where the hall moved in 1962. In 2010—2020s the establishment was reported to gain traction among younger audiences, reflecting a change in the neighborhood's demographics and arrival of “twentysomething artist types” and “hipsters” in the area after being priced out of Buschwick and earlier Williamsburg. According to the venue's owners, the influx of Millennial and Gen Z patrons helped keep the business afloat amid thinning German community.

Woodbine–Palmetto–Gates Historic District is a national historic district in Ridgewood, Queens, New York. It includes 91 contributing buildings built between 1908 and 1911. They consist mainly of three story brick tenements with two apartments per floor. The buildings feature amber brick facades with burnt orange brick bases and trim.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1983.

The Seneca Avenue station is a station on the BMT Myrtle Avenue Line of the New York City Subway. Located at the intersection of Palmetto Street and Seneca Avenue in Ridgewood, Queens, it is served by the M train at all times. The station opened in 1915 as part of the Dual Contracts.

Cypress Avenue East Historic District is a national historic district in Ridgewood, Queens, New York. It includes 247 contributing buildings built between 1900 and 1914. They consist mainly of three story tenements with two apartments per floor. Grover Cleveland High School is a large, comprehensive high school in Ridgewood, Queens. Grover Cleveland High School, Bayside High School, Samuel J. Tilden High School, Abraham Lincoln High School, John Adams High School, Walton High School, and Andrew Jackson High School were all built during the Great Depression from one set of blueprints in order to save money. The school is named after former US president Grover Cleveland.

Ridgewood is a neighborhood in the New York City borough of Queens. It borders the neighborhoods of Maspeth, Middle Village and Glendale, as well as the Brooklyn neighborhoods of Bushwick and East Williamsburg. Historically, the neighborhood straddled the Queens-Brooklyn boundary. The etymology of Ridgewood's name is disputed, but it may have referred to Ridgewood Reservoir, the local geography, or a road. The British settled Ridgewood in the 17th century, while the Dutch settled nearby Bushwick. The adjacent settlements led to decades of disputes over the boundary, which later became the border between Queens and Brooklyn. Bushwick was developed rapidly in the 19th century, but Ridgewood remained sparsely populated until the early 20th century, when rowhouses were built for its rapidly growing, predominantly German population. Ridgewood has become more ethnically diverse since the mid-20th century. Large parts of the neighborhood are national and city historic districts. Ridgewood is patrolled by the New York City Police Department's 104th Precinct. It is represented by the New York City Council's 30th District.

The Madison–Putnam–60th Place Historic District is a national historic district in Ridgewood, Queens, New York. It includes 145 contributing buildings built between 1900 and 1920. They consist mainly of brick two story row houses with one apartment per floor and three story tenements with two apartments per floor. They feature brick facades and Romanesque Revival style detailing. Also included in the district is the Old Queens Labor Lyceum.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1983.
