Aldrich Bay

The Yuk Wong Temple aka. Yuk Wong Kung Din (Chinese: 玉皇宮殿) or Yuk Wong Bo Din (玉皇寶殿) is a temple located at No. 26A A Kung Ngam Village Lane, A Kung Ngam, Shau Kei Wan, Hong Kong. The temple is dedicated to the Jade Emperor (玉皇, Yuk Wong in Cantonese). Two side altars are dedicated to Tin Hau (left of the main altar) and Kwun Yam (right).The temple is managed by the Chinese Temples Committee. A Kung Ngam (Chinese: 阿公岩) is a village and an area in northeast Shau Kei Wan in the north of Hong Kong Island, in Hong Kong. It contains a fish terminal market, several temples and the Hong Kong Museum of Coastal Defence.

The Hong Kong Museum of Coastal Defence is a museum in Hong Kong, located in a former coastal defence fort overlooking the Lei Yue Mun channel, near Shau Kei Wan on Hong Kong Island. The fort was built by the British in 1887, intended to defend the eastern approaches to Victoria Harbour. The total area of the museum is 34,200 square metres (368,000 sq ft). An exhibition entitled "600 years of Coastal Defence" is held permanently in the museum, which tells the story of the defence of the Hong Kong coastline from the time of the Ming Dynasty, through the First and Second Opium Wars and the Battle of Hong Kong, through to today.

Shau Kei Wan or Shaukiwan is a neighborhood in the Eastern District of Hong Kong Island. The area is bordered by Chai Wan to the east, Mount Parker to the south, Sai Wan Ho to the west, and Victoria Harbour to the north. Shau Kei Wan is considered as an area surrounded by A Kung Ngam Road and A Kung Ngam Village Road to the east, Yiu Hing Road and Shau Kei Wan Road to the south, Junction of Aldrich Bay Road and Shau Kei Wan Road to the west, and Oi Kan Road to the north.

Lei Yue Mun is a short channel in Hong Kong. It lies between Junk Bay and Victoria Harbour, separating Kowloon and Hong Kong Island. The channel is an important passage for the city, forming the eastern entrance of Victoria Harbour. The lands around the channel are also called Lei Yue Mun. On Kowloon side, it is famous for its seafood market and restaurants in the fishing villages. On the Hong Kong Island side, it has former military defence facilities.

Shau Kei Wan (Chinese: 筲箕灣; Cantonese Yale: Sāaugēiwāan) is a station on the Hong Kong MTR Island line in the neighborhood of Shau Kei Wan. Its concourse is located underground, and an island platform is used to serve trains on the Island line, to and from Kennedy Town and Chai Wan. Its station livery is blue. The retrofitting of platform screen doors was completed in October 2005.

Lingnan Secondary School (嶺南中學) is a secondary school located in Heng Fa Chuen, Hong Kong. It was established on Stubbs Road, and moved to its present campus in 1999. Different from other education institutions in the town, Lingnan Secondary School's students do not necessarily come from this town.

Heng Fa Chuen is a private housing estate in Chai Wan, Hong Kong Island, Hong Kong, jointly developed by MTR Corporation and Heng Fa Chuen Development. It is located on the waterfront and offers views of the Tathong Channel. Heng Fa Chuen lies within the Eastern District.

Shau Kei Wan Road (traditional Chinese: 筲箕灣道; simplified Chinese: 筲箕湾道; pinyin: Shāojīwān Dào; Cantonese Yale: saau1 gei1 waan1 dou6), formerly known as Shaukiwan Road, is the main road in Shau Kei Wan and Sai Wan Ho, Hong Kong.

Les Saisons (Chinese: 逸濤灣) is a private estate in Hong Kong. Located in Sai Wan Ho of the Eastern District, Hong Kong Island, the property was co-developed by Swire Properties, China Motor Bus and Sun Hung Kai Properties. The estate was completed in October 2001. There is a total of 4 residential buildings with 866 car park spaces provided. More than half of the flats enjoy the sea view of Lei Yue Mun Strait. Adjacent to Les Saisons, a vacant land owned by the government was originally the designated site of Hong Kong Ice Sports Centre. However, the plan was abandoned while the Aldrich Bay Park, a park featuring old fishing village was built instead. Before the construction of the park, it was once a temporary golf course for training purpose. As the fence blocked certain flats' scenery and the light pollution problem was serious, some of the residents protested against it.

Aldrich Bay Park (Chinese: 愛秩序灣公園) is a park with fishing village as its theme. Located at the waterfront of Aldrich Bay, Sai Wan Ho, Hong Kong, it is 22,000 square feet in size. The park was opened on 11 April 2011 and is now managed by the Leisure and Cultural Services Department.

The Grand Promenade (Chinese: 嘉亨灣) is a high-rise residential development built in 2005 in Sai Wan Ho, Hong Kong. The complex consists of five towers, with towers 2, 3, and 5 being interconnected The towers are 213 - 219 metres tall and contain 2,020 apartments.This property has been cited by the government and academics as having had a negative "wall effect" on surrounding neighbourhoods because of its bulky size on reclaimed land next to the harbour, which leads to poor air ventilation for nearby residents.The awarding of the tender in 2001 to billionaire Lee Shau Kee's Henderson Land Development was met with much controversy over the calculation of land premium. The result of this controversial episode was the massive size of the towers and the aforementioned negative "wall effect".
