The North Miami Public Library is a public library in North Miami, Florida. The library has a diverse collection of over 60,000 items, which include fiction and non-fiction books, magazines, newspapers, videos, audio books and discs, compact discs, and DVDs for adults, teens, and children. A bilingual and multi-cultural staff provides a variety of services and programs.

North Miami Senior High School (NMSHS) is a public high school in North Miami, Florida, United States. Located at 13110 NE 8th Avenue, The school opened as Edward L. Constance Junior-Senior High School in 1951; with 1,500 students in 7th, 8th and 9th grades. Another grade was added each year for the next three years. The class of 1955 was the first graduating class. Early in 1955, the name of the school was changed to North Miami Senior High School. In the fall of 1955 the 7th, 8th and 9th grades were moved to the new North Miami Junior High School.

Arch Creek was an early settlement in Miami-Dade County, Florida, in present-day metropolitan Miami. Tequesta Indians thrived here before the first Europeans arrived in the early 16th century. The name is derived from the 40 feet (12 m) long natural limestone bridge that spanned the creek until 1973. It is part of the Arch Creek Memorial Park at 1855 Northeast 135th Street, on Biscayne Boulevard. It was added to the U.S. National Register of Historic Places on July 15, 1986.

The Barry University School of Podiatric Medicine is one of the nine podiatric medical schools in the United States. It is located in Miami Shores, Florida. The school was founded in 1985 as the first podiatric medical college to be part of a university. It is one of several schools of Barry University. Barry University School of Podiatric Medicine has graduated more than 1000 podiatric physicians since its inception in 1985. The Center for Community Health and Minority Medicine, the first of several medical sciences facilities for the Doctor in Podiatry and Physician Assistant Master students, began construction in 2007. A short walk west from the main campus, it is currently the new location of Barry University's School of Podiatric medicine. The school has affiliations with such Miami hospitals as: Mount Sinai Medical Center & Miami Heart Institute, Mercy Hospital, DVA Miami, North Shore Medical Center and Jackson Memorial Hospital. Criteria Studios is a recording studio in North Miami, Florida, founded in 1958 by musician Mack Emerman. Hundreds of gold, platinum, and diamond singles and albums have been recorded, mixed or mastered at Criteria, for many notable artists and producers.

The Miami Auto Museum at the Dezer Collection was a privately owned museum in North Miami, Florida, that exhibited automobiles and related memorabilia collected by Michael Dezer. It has closed and is being moved to Orlando, Florida, to be opened as the Orlando Auto Museum.The museum was housed in two large warehouse buildings, one for the Hollywood Collection, the other for the Classic Car Collection. The Hollywood Collection displayed cars and vehicles used in movies or by the stars, among them a collection of James Bond cars and Batman cars. The other collection showed classic American and European cars, micro-cars, military vehicles, motorcycles, scooters, bicycles, and various related memorabilia. The exhibition areas exceeded 250,000 square feet and was capable of displaying more than 1,000 vehicles.Cars included in the collection are the 1948 Ford from Grease, the 1959 Cadillac from Ghostbusters (a replica), the 1981 DeLorean from Back to the Future, an original Batmobile, the Land Rover from Skyfall, and a T-55 Soviet tank from GoldenEye. In 2011, the museum acquired the original Pursuit Special driven by Max Rockatansky in Mad Max and Mad Max 2.The collection was started by Micheal Dezer, an Israeli-born real estate developer, after he got a Vespa scooter at the age of 16. The museum evolved from the holding place for his collection and was opened in 2012 (2012). It incorporated the Cars of the Stars Motor Museum purchased from England.
