Winston-Salem Air Force Station

Union Cross is an unincorporated community in southeastern Forsyth County, North Carolina, United States. Parts of the community have been annexed by Kernersville and Winston-Salem as a result of the area's large population growth and the construction of the new Dell plant. The community holds Union Cross Traditional Academy, as well as Glenn High School.

George W. Wall House is a historic home located at Wallburg, Davidson County, North Carolina. It was built in 1896, and is a two-story, three bay by two-bay, vernacular Queen Anne style frame dwelling. It features a deck-on-hip roof, decorative sawn woodwork, and a wraparound porch.It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1984.

Broadbay Township is one of fifteen townships in Forsyth County, North Carolina, United States. By the requirements of the North Carolina Constitution of 1868, the counties were divided into townships, which included Broadbay Township. The township had a population of 2,002 according to the 2010 census.The name "Broadbay" is an interesting one 300 miles (480 km) from the coast. Settlers who came in 1770 to join the Moravian Church and found the settlement of Friedland originated from Waldoboro, Maine, a town known at the time as "Broad Bay". The settlers named the new area in Wachovia after their former town on the coast of Maine. Geographically, Broadbay Township occupies 6.25 square miles (16.2 km2) in southern Forsyth County. There are no incorporated municipalities in Broadbay Township and much of the original township has been annexed by the City of Winston-Salem and made part of Winston Township.

The station, owned by Berean Christian School (North Carolina) which is part of Berean Baptist Church, broadcasts only during daytime hours to protect WCBS (AM) of New York City, which is assigned the 880 AM clear channel frequency during the nighttime.

Wallburg is a town in Davidson County, North Carolina, United States. It was incorporated in 2004. As of the 2020 census it had a population of 3,051.

Abbotts Creek Township is one of fifteen townships in Forsyth County, North Carolina, United States. The township had a population of 11,310 according to the 2010 census.Geographically, Abbotts Creek Township occupies 26.84 square miles (69.5 km2) in southeastern Forsyth County. Abbotts Creek Township contains portions of the town of Kernersville and the city of High Point, as well as the unincorporated community of Union Cross.

Abbott's Creek Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery is a historic Primitive Baptist church cemetery near Thomasville, Davidson County, North Carolina. There are approximately 450 gravestones, with the earliest headstone dating to 1795. Around one dozen unmarked field stones may date even earlier. The 351 locally manufactured gravestones makes it the largest such group in Davidson County, North Carolina. All of the epitaphs are inscribed in English because of the English and Scotch-Irish settlers who were members of the church. This was in spite of the headstones being cut by local German stonecutters.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1984.

Yorktown is a populated place in Forsyth County in the U.S. state of North Carolina. It lies 10 kilometres (6 mi) east of the county seat of Winston-Salem.

Spurgeon House is a historic home near High Point, Davidson County, North Carolina. It was built about 1854 and is a two-story frame dwelling with Late Federal and Greek Revival design elements. It has an irregular configuration with a 1+1⁄2-story wing and two-story addition. Also on the property are contributing outbuildings including a kitchen, slave house, spring house, smokehouse, chickenhouse, two frame barns, a frame carriage house, and a log root cellar.It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1983.

Waughtown–Belview Historic District is a national historic district located at Winston-Salem, Forsyth County, North Carolina. The district encompasses 1,137 contributing buildings, 1 contributing site, and 1 contributing object in a largely residential section of Winston-Salem. The buildings date from about 1834 to 1955, and include notable examples of Greek Revival, Colonial Revival, Queen Anne, and Bungalow / American Craftsman style architecture. Located in the district is the separately listed Shell Service Station. Other notable resources include the Clodfelter House (c. 1850), Fiddler House (c. 1900), Nissen Wagon Works smokestack, Triangle Body Works (c. 1927), Waughtown Baptist Church (1919), Waughtown Presbyterian Church (1914), Southside Christian Church (c. 1915), and Waughtown Cemetery.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2005.
