Sereď

Sereď was a labor and transit camp built during World War II in the Slovak Republic. It was founded as a labor camp for the Jewish population in September 1941. In September 1944, it was taken over by units of the SS.

Dubník is a national nature reserve in the Slovak municipalities of Dvorníky, Pusté Sady, Vinohrady nad Váhom in the Hlohovec District and Galanta District. The nature reserve covers an area of 165 ha in the Váh river valley. It has a protection level of 4 under the Slovak nature protection system. The protected area is an important bird locality especially for Eurasian scops owl. It is a rare remainder of natural forest with protected species in a deforested landscape. The geological substrate is loess and the soil type is black earth. On the edge of the protected landscape is a stand of old oaks which forms an important bird nesting place.

Vlčkovce (until 1948: Farkašín; Hungarian: Farkashida) is a village and municipality of Trnava District in the Trnava Region of Slovakia.

The Dolná Blava is a right tributary of the Dolný Dudváh in Trnava District, Western Slovakia. It flows into the Dolný Dudváh near Križovany nad Dudváhom. It is 9.8 km (6.1 mi) long and its basin size is 143 km2 (55 sq mi).

The Dudváh (also: Horný Dudváh, Hungarian: Dudvág) is a lowland river in western Slovakia. Its source is located in the Čachtice Little Carpathians, and it mostly runs in parallel to the Váh river. It flows into the Váh near the village of Siladice. Its average discharge flow is 1.3 m³/s near Siladice. It is 41.7 km (25.9 mi) long and its basin size is 499 km2 (193 sq mi).: 72  Its former lower course, the Dolný Dudváh ("lower Dudváh"), branches off close to Siladice and flows towards the south. Near the town Čierna Voda, the Dolný Dudváh flows into the river Čierna voda, which in turn flows into the Little Danube.: 103  The Dolný Dudváh is 34.2 km (21.3 mi) long and its basin size is 751 km2 (290 sq mi).: 72 

Zavar is a village and municipality of Trnava District in the Trnava region of Slovakia. One of the main employers in the village is an auto industry production branch. Zavar location at a crossroad of D1 and R1 motorways is a good prerequisite for the further development. According to 2021 census, more than 15% of inhabitants are foreigners, mostly Ukrainians and Serbians.
