The Faros del Panamá is a skyscraper complex currently cancelled in Panama City, Panama. The complex, designed by Chapman Taylor, includes Torre Central (Central Tower), an 84 floor building with a planned height of 346 metres (1,135 feet). Like its name states, Torre Central is in the middle of Faros de Panamá's three tower complex. Torre Central will be the tallest of the three, rising from a common podium with the other two towers. The two smaller towers, rising on either side of Torre Central will be similar in design. They are named, very simply, Torre Oeste (West Tower) on the west and Torre Este (East Tower) on the east. Despite being small compared to Torre Central, the East and West Tower will still be 290 m (951 feet) tall and have 73 floors. The name of the complex, Faros del Panamá, translates into English as Lighthouses of Panama. The project was paralyzed by financial problems and has now been cancelled. It is extremely unlikely that the complex will ever be constructed. Had it been constructed, the Central Tower would likely have been the tallest building in Latin America. In 2010 the project's foundation was completed, however construction has not progressed since then due to financing problems. It would have cost US$600 million to build. It is currently undergoing debt liquidation.

The Ocean Park Towers is a high-rise residential complex in the Punta Pacifica district of Panama City, Panama. Completed between 2005 (Tower A) and 2006 (Tower B), the complex consists of two twin towers standing at 141 m (463 ft) tall with 44 floors each, currently sharing the position of the 51st tallest buildings in Panama City.

The Aqualina Tower is a residential skyscraper in Punta Pacífica, Panama City. The building is 210 meters tall and has 63 floors. Its construction was carried out by Fajardo Moreno Arquitectos and Btesh & Virzi Promoción Inmobiliaria, which began in 2005 and finished in 2007. It is one of the tallest buildings in the city, surpassing the 200 meters between the other skyscrapers.

The Pacific Village is a residential skyscraper complex in the Punta Pacifica district of Panama City, Panama. Built between 2005 and 2009, the complex consists of two twin towers standing at 179 m (587 ft) tall with 47 floors each, currently sharing the position of the 30th tallest buildings in Panama City.

The JW Marriott Panama (formerly The Bahia Grand Panama, before that Trump International Hotel & Tower Panama, and before that Trump Ocean Club) is a 70 floor, 2,710,000 sq ft (252,000 m2), mixed-use waterfront hotel and condominium tower development in Panama City, Panama, in the area of Punta Pacifica. It opened in 2011 as the first international "named branded development" of The Trump Organization. At 284 meters, it is the tallest building in Panama and the tallest building in Central America.

The Credicorp Bank Tower, also known as the PH Plaza Credicorp is a high-rise office building in the Bella Vista district of Panama City, Panama. Completed in 1997, the tower stands at 146 m (479 ft) tall with 42 floors and is the 51st tallest building in Panama City. It also serves as the headquarters of the Panamanian filiale of the Credicorp Bank.

The Torre Banco General also known as Plaza Banco General is a high-rise office building in the Bella Vista district of Panama City, Panama. Completed in 1998, the tower stands at 122 m (400 ft) tall with 32 floors, and is the 55th tallest building in Panama City. It serves as the headquarters of the Banco General Panamá.

The Panama Metro (Spanish: Metro de Panamá) is a rapid transit system in Panama City, Panama. It links the south and the east of the metropolitan area to the city center. The metro was inaugurated on April 5, 2014, and it entered revenue service two weeks later.The Metro was built to relieve the traffic congestion between the city and San Miguelito District and to offer commuters a viable alternative to road transport, as the Metrobus transport system was suffering multiple issues. The Metro operates seven days a week and 365 days a year. Its hours are Monday-Friday 05:00–23:00, Saturday 05:00–22:00, and Sundays and holidays 07:00–22:00.The Panama Metro is part of a major "National Master Plan" to improve transportation in Panama City and the west side of the country, which includes the construction of three more metro lines and a light rail line. Two lines have been built so far. The 15.8-kilometer (9.8 mi) Line 1, serves fourteen stations, with a fifteenth station being planned. Line 2 was opened partially and temporarily on January 14 to 17, 2019 for the week of the World Youth Day and completely and permanently on April 24 the same year; it covers a 21-kilometer (13 mi) route and serves sixteen stations. San Miguelito is the interchange station for both lines.

It was a stopover point on one of the most important trade routes in the American continent, leading to the fairs of Nombre de Dios and Portobelo, through which passed most of the gold and silver that Spain mined from the Americas. On 28 January 1671, the original city was destroyed by a fire when the privateer Henry Morgan sacked and set fire to it. The city was formally reestablished two years later on 21 January 1673, on a peninsula located 8 km (5 miles) from the original settlement. The site of the previously devastated city is still in ruins, and is now a popular tourist attraction, and is regularly visited by school trips.

The Torre Global Bank is an office skyscraper in the Bella Vista district of Panama City, Panama. Built between 2002 and 2005, the tower stands at 176 m (577 ft) with 43 floors and is the 32nd tallest building in Panama City It was the tallest building in the country between 2005 and 2007.
