Oneglia

Imperia (pronounced [imˈpɛːrja] ; Ligurian: Inpêia [iŋˈpeːja] or Inpéria) is a coastal city and comune in the region of Liguria, Italy. It is the capital of the Province of Imperia, and historically it was capital of the Intemelia district of Liguria. Benito Mussolini created the city of Imperia on 21 October 1923 by combining Porto Maurizio and Oneglia, as well as the surrounding village communes of Piani, Caramagna Ligure, Castelvecchio di Santa Maria Maggiore, Borgo Sant'Agata, Costa d'Oneglia, Poggi, Torrazza, Moltedo and Montegrazie. Imperia is well known for the cultivation of flowers and olives, and is a popular summer destination for visitors. The local Piscina Felice Cascione indoor pool has hosted numerous national and international aquatics events.

The Impero is a 22.4-kilometre (13.9 mi) stream of Liguria (Italy).

Opened in 1872, it formed part of the Genoa–Ventimiglia railway, and was situated just over two thirds along the way from Genoa towards Ventimiglia. It was replaced on 11 December 2016, along with Imperia's other former railway station, Imperia Porto Maurizio, 2.2 kilometres (1.4 mi) to the west, by a new station, simply named Imperia, situated on a new double-track line replacing the old coastal route.

Opened in 1872, it formed part of the Genoa–Ventimiglia railway, and was situated just over two thirds along the way from Genoa towards Ventimiglia. It was replaced on 11 December 2016, along with Imperia's other former railway station, Imperia Oneglia, 2.2 kilometres (1.4 mi) to the east, by a new inland station, simply named Imperia, situated on a new double-track line replacing the old coastal route.The station was managed by Rete Ferroviaria Italiana (RFI), however, the commercial area of the passenger building was managed by Centostazioni. Train services to and from the station were operated by Trenitalia. Each of these companies is a subsidiary of Ferrovie dello Stato (FS), Italy's state-owned rail company.

Diano Castello (Ligurian: Dian Castello) is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Imperia in the Italian region Liguria, located about 90 kilometres (56 mi) southwest of Genoa and about 5 kilometres (3 mi) northeast of Imperia. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 2,061 and an area of 6.0 square kilometres (2.3 sq mi).Diano Castello borders the following municipalities: Diano Arentino, Diano Marina, Diano San Pietro, Imperia, and San Bartolomeo al Mare. The hills surrounding the village are covered with olive groves and with vineyards that produce Vermentino, a white wine. It is one of I Borghi più belli d'Italia ("The most beautiful villages of Italy").

Pontedassio (Ligurian: Puntedassce or Puntedasce) is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Imperia in the Italian region Liguria. It is located about 90 kilometres (56 mi) southwest of Genoa and about 6 kilometres (4 mi) north of Imperia. As of December 31, 2004, it has a population of 2,159 and an area of 14.5 square kilometres (5.6 sq mi).Pontedassio borders the following municipalities: Chiusanico, Chiusavecchia, Diano Arentino, Imperia, Lucinasco, and Vasia.

Diano railway station (Italian: Stazione di Diano) is a railway station serving the town of Diano Castello, in Liguria, northwestern Italy. The station is located on the Genoa–Ventimiglia railway and was opened on 11 December 2016. The train services are operated by Trenitalia. The station was built to replace the former station Diano Marina. The station was opened as part of an 18.8 km new double-track railway between Andora and San Lorenzo which operates largely through tunnels, rather than winding along the coast.

Diano Marina (Ligurian: A Maina de Dian, or simply Dian) is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Imperia in the Italian region of Liguria, located about 90 kilometres (56 mi) southwest of Genoa and about 5 kilometres (3.1 mi) northeast of Imperia.
