Diano Castello

Diano railway station (Italian: Stazione di Diano) is a railway station serving the town of Diano Castello, in Liguria, northwestern Italy. The station is located on the Genoa–Ventimiglia railway and was opened on 11 December 2016. The train services are operated by Trenitalia. The station was built to replace the former station Diano Marina. The station was opened as part of an 18.8 km new double-track railway between Andora and San Lorenzo which operates largely through tunnels, rather than winding along the coast.

Diano Marina (Ligurian: A Maina de Dian, or simply Dian) is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Imperia in the Italian region of Liguria, located about 90 kilometres (56 mi) southwest of Genoa and about 5 kilometres (3.1 mi) northeast of Imperia.

The Decauville factory in Diano Marina produced prefabricated narrow gauge railway track and rolling stock from 1889 to 1895 in Diano Marina, Italy.

Imperia Oneglia railway station (Italian: Stazione di Imperia Oneglia) served the city of Imperia, in the Liguria region, northwestern Italy. Opened in 1872, it formed part of the Genoa–Ventimiglia railway, and was situated just over two thirds along the way from Genoa towards Ventimiglia. It was replaced on 11 December 2016, along with Imperia's other former railway station, Imperia Porto Maurizio, 2.2 kilometres (1.4 mi) to the west, by a new station, simply named Imperia, situated on a new double-track line replacing the old coastal route.

Opened in 1872, it formed part of the Genoa–Ventimiglia railway, and was situated about two thirds along the way from Genoa towards Ventimiglia. It was replaced on December 11, 2016, by a new station in Diano Castello, Diano, situated on a new double-track line replacing the old coastal route.The station's reception building featured a waiting room and ticket machine. The trains were operated by Trenitalia.

Diano Arentino (Ligurian: Dian Arentin) is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Imperia in the Italian region Liguria, located about 90 kilometres (56 mi) southwest of Genoa and about 7 kilometres (4 mi) north of Imperia. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 648 and an area of 8.3 square kilometres (3.2 sq mi).Diano Arentino borders the following municipalities: Chiusanico, Diano Castello, Diano San Pietro, Imperia, Pontedassio, and Stellanello.

Imperia (pronounced [imˈpɛːrja] ; Ligurian: Inpêia [iŋˈpeːja] or Inpéria) is a coastal city and comune in the region of Liguria, Italy. It is the capital of the Province of Imperia, and historically it was capital of the Intemelia district of Liguria. Benito Mussolini created the city of Imperia on 21 October 1923 by combining Porto Maurizio and Oneglia, as well as the surrounding village communes of Piani, Caramagna Ligure, Castelvecchio di Santa Maria Maggiore, Borgo Sant'Agata, Costa d'Oneglia, Poggi, Torrazza, Moltedo and Montegrazie. Imperia is well known for the cultivation of flowers and olives, and is a popular summer destination for visitors.
