Dubai Pearl (Arabic: لؤلؤة دبي) is a 73-storey, 300 m (984 ft), tall residential skyscraper project situated along Al Sufouh Road in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Construction has been on hold since 2009. The building would have consisted of four mixed-use towers connected together at the base and by a sky bridge at the top. The structural design was carried out by Dubai-based engineering firm e-Construct. Construction was started in 2009, and the project would have cost $4 billion (Dh14.6 billion). Had it been completed, Dubai Pearl would have accommodated 9,000 residents and its commercial sector would have employed 12,000 people.
