Heiderscheid

Merscheid (Luxembourgish: Mëtscheed) is a village in the commune of Esch-sur-Sûre, in north-western Luxembourg. As of 2025, the village has a population of 306, and it is known for its picturesque countryside and natural beauty. The village is surrounded by rolling hills, forests, and meadows, making it a popular destination for hiking, biking, and other outdoor activities.

Dellen (German pronunciation: [ˈdɛlən] ) is a village in the commune of Groussbus-Wal located in western Luxembourg, situated in the canton of Redange. As of October 2025, the village has a population of 112.

The District of Diekirch was one of three districts of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg. To its south was located the district of Grevenmacher. The German State of Rhineland-Palatinate bordered Diekirch to its east. It had a per capita income of $49,000.

Lehrhof (German pronunciation: [ˈleːɐ̯hoːf]; Luxembourgish: Léierhaff) is a village in northwestern Luxembourg. It has a population of 19 as of 2025. Since September 2023, Lehrhof is situated in the commune of Groussbus-Wal. It was previously located in the commune of Grosbous.

Grosbous (Luxembourgish: Groussbus or (locally) Bus Luxembourgish pronunciation: [ˈbuːs]; German: Grosbous) is a former commune and small town in northwestern Luxembourg, in the canton of Redange. As of 2005, the town of Grosbous, which lies in the south of the commune, had a population of 619. Other towns within the commune include Dellen. On January 1, 2021, the population of Grosbous was 1,112. Since beginning of 2019, Grosbous had intense discussions with their neighbours, the Commune of Wahl concerning a fusion of the two communes entitled Grosbous-Wahl. An important step in this process was the referendum of June 27, 2021, when the inhabitants of both communes expressed their opinion about the project of merging the two communes. The majority of voters in both communes supported the fusion, which took place in September 2023, after the next municipal elections in June 2023.

Mertzig (Luxembourgish: Mäerzeg) is a commune and town in central Luxembourg. It is part of Diekirch Canton. As of 2005, the town of Mertzig itself, which lies in the centre of the commune, has a population of 1,439. Mertzig was formed on 30 December 1874, when it was detached from the commune of Feulen. The law forming Mertzig was passed on 20 November 1874.Footballer Wimm Fledermaus once managed a hotel in Mertzig.

Grosbous-Wahl (Luxembourgish: Groussbus-Wal) is a commune in northwestern Luxembourg, in the canton of Redange. It was established on 1 September 2023 with merger of the communes of Grosbous and Wahl. The town of Grosbous, which lies in the south of its former namesake commune, is the main town. Other towns within the commune include Wahl, Dellen, Buschrodt and Grevels.

Oberfeulen (Luxembourgish: Uewerfeelen) is a small town in the commune of Feulen, in central Luxembourg. As of 2005, the town has a population of 277.

Buschrodt (Luxembourgish: Bëschrued) is a village in the commune of Wahl, in western Luxembourg. As of 2001, the village had a population of 112.

Goebelsmuhle (Luxembourgish: Giewelsmillen, German: Goebelsmühle) is a village in the commune of Bourscheid, in north-eastern Luxembourg. As of 2006, the village had a population of 17, which subsequently increased to 34 by 2019. Nearby is the confluence of the Sauer and the Wiltz. It is served by Goebelsmuhle railway station, which lies on Chemins de Fer Luxembourgeois' Line 10.

The Wiltz (Luxembourgish: Wolz, [volts] ) is a river flowing through Belgium and Luxembourg, joining the Sauer at Goebelsmuhle. The Clerve is a tributary of the Wiltz.

Michelbouch (Luxembourgish: Méchelbuch) is a village in the commune of Vichten, in central Luxembourg. As of 2005, the village has a population of 108.
