Grosbous-Wahl

Buschrodt (Luxembourgish: Bëschrued) is a village in the commune of Wahl, in western Luxembourg. As of 2001, the village had a population of 112.

Wahl (Luxembourgish: Wal) is a former commune and small village in western Luxembourg, in the canton of Redange. Wahl, which lies in the south of the commune, has a population of 220. Other villages within the commune include Buschrodt and Grevels. The commune administration for the three villages is located in Wahl's historic school building.

Grosbous (Luxembourgish: Groussbus or (locally) Bus Luxembourgish pronunciation: [ˈbuːs]; German: Grosbous) is a former commune and small town in northwestern Luxembourg, in the canton of Redange. As of 2005, the town of Grosbous, which lies in the south of the commune, had a population of 619. Other towns within the commune include Dellen. On January 1, 2021, the population of Grosbous was 1,112. Since beginning of 2019, Grosbous had intense discussions with their neighbours, the Commune of Wahl concerning a fusion of the two communes entitled Grosbous-Wahl. An important step in this process was the referendum of June 27, 2021, when the inhabitants of both communes expressed their opinion about the project of merging the two communes. The majority of voters in both communes supported the fusion, which took place in September 2023, after the next municipal elections in June 2023.

Bettborn (Luxembourgish: Biebereg) is a village in the commune of Préizerdaul, in western Luxembourg. As of 2001, the village had a population of 218. It is the administrative centre of Préizerdaul commune.

Pratz (Luxembourgish: Proz) is a small town in the commune of Préizerdaul, in western Luxembourg. As of 2005, the town has a population of 347.

Reimberg (Luxembourgish: Rëmmereg) is a village in the commune of Préizerdaul, in western Luxembourg. As of 2005, the village has a population of 172.

Préizerdaul (Luxembourgish pronunciation: [ˈpʀəɪ̯tsɐdɑʊ̯l] ) is a commune in western Luxembourg, in the canton of Redange. Until 17 July 2001, it was known as Bettborn, after its administrative centre. Préizerdaul was the first commune to change its name since before the First World War; to date, it is the only commune to have changed its name to a name of Luxembourgish origin. Towns within the commune include Bettborn, Platen, Pratz, and Reimberg.

Eschette (Luxembourgish: Éischent) is a village in the commune of Rambrouch and the canton of Redange in western Luxembourg. As of 2008, it has 38 inhabitants. The remains of Schorels Castle, an old fort, are located near Eschette.

Platen is a small town in the commune of Préizerdaul, in western Luxembourg. As of 2005, the town has a population of 507.

Ospern (Luxembourgish: Osper) is a small town in the commune of Redange, in western Luxembourg. As of 2005, the town has a population of 261.

Schandel is a small town in the commune of Useldange, in western Luxembourg. As of 2005, the town has a population of 184.

Mertzig (Luxembourgish: Mäerzeg) is a commune and town in central Luxembourg. It is part of Diekirch Canton. As of 2005, the town of Mertzig itself, which lies in the centre of the commune, has a population of 1,439. Mertzig was formed on 30 December 1874, when it was detached from the commune of Feulen. The law forming Mertzig was passed on 20 November 1874.Footballer Wimm Fledermaus once managed a hotel in Mertzig.
