The town is notable as the site of a large Roman villa containing a large and well-preserved mosaic. The mosaic itself is on display at the National Museum of History and Art in Luxembourg City. A replica can be seen in Vichten itself.

Grosbous (Luxembourgish: Groussbus or (locally) Bus Luxembourgish pronunciation: [ˈbuːs]; German: Grosbous) is a former commune and small town in northwestern Luxembourg, in the canton of Redange. As of 2005, the town of Grosbous, which lies in the south of the commune, had a population of 619. Other towns within the commune include Dellen. On January 1, 2021, the population of Grosbous was 1,112. Since beginning of 2019, Grosbous had intense discussions with their neighbours, the Commune of Wahl concerning a fusion of the two communes entitled Grosbous-Wahl. An important step in this process was the referendum of June 27, 2021, when the inhabitants of both communes expressed their opinion about the project of merging the two communes. The majority of voters in both communes supported the fusion, which took place in September 2023, after the next municipal elections in June 2023.

Useldange Castle is a medieval castle, which, while now being mainly in ruin, also comprises the current town hall. It is located in the centre of the village, right opposite to the town's church building. The site can be visited throughout the year with special arrangements for poorly sighted visitors. It is also the location for the annual medieval festival in Luxembourg. Useldange also has an airfield used by gliders (49.768611°N 5.965556°E / 49.768611; 5.965556 (Useldange glider field)).

The site can be visited throughout the year with special arrangements for poorly sighted visitors.

Buschrodt (Luxembourgish: Bëschrued) is a village in the commune of Wahl, in western Luxembourg. As of 2001, the village had a population of 112.

Grosbous-Wahl (Luxembourgish: Groussbus-Wal) is a commune in northwestern Luxembourg, in the canton of Redange. It was established on 1 September 2023 with merger of the communes of Grosbous and Wahl. The town of Grosbous, which lies in the south of its former namesake commune, is the main town. Other towns within the commune include Wahl, Dellen, Buschrodt and Grevels.
