The area is part of the traditional region of Styria. The municipality is now included in the Drava Statistical Region.The A1 motorway runs through the entire length of the settlement.

Gradiška (pronounced [ɡɾaˈdiːʃka]) is a settlement in the Municipality of Kungota in the western part of the Slovene Hills (Slovene: Slovenske gorice) in northeastern Slovenia.The parish church in the village, located in the hamlet of Spodnja Kungota, is dedicated to Saint Cunigunde and belongs to the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Maribor. It is built on a hill to the west of the main road from Maribor to Zgornja Kungota. The original church was built in the 13th century. The current building dates to 1673.

The area is part of the traditional region of Styria and is now included in the Drava Statistical Region. Jarenina Creek (Slovene: Jareninski potok) flows along the western edge of the settlement.

Rošpoh (pronounced [ˈɾoːʃpɔx]; in older sources also Rožpoh, German: Rossbach) is a dispersed settlement in the western Slovene Hills (Slovene: Slovenske gorice) in northeastern Slovenia. The hamlet of Mali Rošpoh in the northern part of the settlement lies in the Municipality of Kungota. The remaining part of the settlement, which the village was split from in 1982, belongs to the municipality of Maribor.

Pesniški Dvor (pronounced [ˈpeːsniʃki ˈdʋoːɾ]) is a settlement in the Municipality of Pesnica in northeastern Slovenia. It lies in the Pesnica Valley in the traditional region of Styria. The entire municipality is now included in the Drava Statistical Region.The name Pesniški Dvor literally means 'Pesnica Manor'. It gets its name from a 17th-century Baroque mansion (Slovene: dvor) in the settlement. Until 1935 it was in the possession of St. Paul's Abbey in the Lavanttal. After the Second World War it was used by an agricultural conglomerate. Despite being protected as a monument of cultural heritage by the Slovenian Ministry of Culture, it is in a very bad state of repair.
