Blake Garden is a University of California-owned garden in Kensington, California, in the East Bay region of the Bay Area in Northern California. Blake House, built in 1924 and designed by architect Walter Danforth Bliss, served as the official residence of the President of the University of California, from 1967 to 2008. Since 2009, the Blake estate is open to the public during weekdays and serves as a teaching facility for the UC Berkeley College of Environmental Design
