Blankenberge (Dutch: [ˈblɑŋkə(m)bɛrɣə] ; French: Blankenberghe; West Flemish: Blanknberge) is a seaside city and a municipality in the Belgian province of West Flanders. The municipality comprises the town of Blankenberge proper and the settlement of Uitkerke. On 1 December 2014, Blankenberge had a total population of 19,897. The total area of the municipality is 17.41 km², giving a population density of 1,142 inhabitants per km². The towns inhabitants are called Blankenbergenaars. Blankenberge is one of the most important seaside resorts on the Belgian coast in terms of tourist numbers and hotel reservations. It is a national and to a certain extent international seaside resort, attracting visitors from across northern Europe. It possesses a long sandy beach, and a 350-m long art-deco pier, the Belgium Pier, constructed in 1933. A structure that is unique on the Belgian coast.

Blankenberge railway station (Dutch: Station Blankenberge, French: Gare de Blankenberghe) is a railway station in Blankenberge, West Flanders, Belgium. The station opened on 16 August 1863 on railway line 51. It is run by the National Railway Company of Belgium (NMBS/SNCB) as a terminal station located on the railway line from Brugge and has services to Brussels-South and beyond to Leuven.

The Schooneveld, also spelled Schoneveld, is a former island turned shoal and namesake adjacent basin at the mouth of the Scheldt river, near the island of Walcheren, off the coast of the Netherlands. The shoal is also referred to as the Droogte van Schooneveld (the dry area of Schooneveld). The basin runs parallel to the continental coast, narrowing from the southwest to the northeast, bounded by the irregular, shifting and very dangerous Raan shoal in the south (located in the mouth of the Westerschelde estuary) and the elongated Thorntonbank in the north. During the Third Anglo-Dutch War two Battles of Schooneveld were fought in June 1673, though only the first of these really took place in the Schooneveld itself. The name means "clear field" in Dutch.

De Haan (Dutch pronunciation: [də ˈɦaːn]; French: Le Coq, French pronunciation: [lə kɔk]; West Flemish: D'n Oane; English: The Rooster) is a place and a municipality located in the Belgian province of West Flanders. The municipality comprises the villages of De Haan proper, Wenduine, Klemskerke, Vlissegem and Harendijk. On January 1, 2020 De Haan had a total population of 12,700. The total area is 46.14 km² (26.2 Miles) which gives a population density of 275.26 inhabitants per km². The coastal village of De Haan proper has maintained a low skyline so its many buildings in Belle Époque style are still prominently visible. The town has an 18-hole golf course situated in its dunes, founded by King Leopold II in 1903. Today, it is the only links course in the country.Its most famous resident was Albert Einstein, who lived in the villa "Savoyarde" for six months in 1933 after leaving Nazi Germany.

Uitkerke is in West Flanders and is part of the coastal city of Blankenberge, Belgium. The two neighboring communities were officially united in the early 1970s.

The Coast Tram (Dutch: Kusttram) is a public transport service connecting the cities and towns along the Belgian (West Flanders) coast between De Panne, near the French border, and Knokke-Heist, near the Dutch border. At 67 kilometres (42 mi) in length, it is currently (as of January 2024) the world's longest metre gauge tram line in service, and the second-longest light rail service in the world after the A Line of the Los Angeles Metro Rail system, as well as one of the few interurban tramways in the world to remain in operation. The line is fully electrified at 600 V DC.

Zuienkerke (Dutch pronunciation: [ˈzœyə(ŋ)kɛrkə]; West Flemish: Zuunkerke; French: Zuyenkerque) is a municipality located in the Belgian province of West Flanders. The municipality comprises the towns of Houtave, Meetkerke, Nieuwmunster and Zuienkerke proper. On January 1, 2006, Zuienkerke had a total population of 2,776. The total area is 48.86 km2 which gives a population density of 57 inhabitants per km2.

Jabbeke railway staiton is a former Belgian railway station on Line 50A from Brussels to Ostend located in Jabbeke, in the commune of the same name, in the Flemish Region of the province of West Flanders. The station was opened in 1838 by Belgian State Railways and was closed to traffic in 1984.
