Heydour is a hamlet and civil parish in the South Kesteven district of Lincolnshire, England. The parish population of 286 at the 2001 census rose to 311 at the 2011 census. Heydour lies about 5 miles (8 km) south-west of Sleaford and 6 miles (10 km) north-east of Grantham. It forms a group of parish hamlets with Kelby, Culverthorpe, Oasby and Aisby.

Oasby, Heydour, Aisby, Culverthorpe and Kelby are the five hamlets within Heydour parish. Oasby Manor House is a Grade II* listed building dating from the 17th century with reused 15th-century stonework and 19th-century alterations. There is a 15th-century Oriel window on the first floor.Manor House Farm is a 17th-century single story Grade II listed farmhouse.Oasby Mill is a tower windmill, built about 1810 of black bitumen painted ashlar. It is Grade II listed, and all machinery has been removed.The village public house, the Houblon Arms, was built about 1700 and is Grade II listed.The parish holds community events, usually in Aisby village hall, with a book club, art club, cricket club, annual art exhibition and January pantomime.

The church is situated some 8 miles (12.9 km) to the east of Grantham, about 1 mile (1.6 km) south of the A52 road. It has a double dedication to Saint Barbara and Saint Margaret.

It is 8 miles (13 km) east from Grantham, 8 miles south from Sleaford, and 1 mile (1.6 km) south from the A52 road. In 1921 the parish had a population of 51. On 1 April 1931 the parish was abolished and merged with Newton to form "Newton and Haceby".In the Domesday account the village is written as "Hazebi". The -by suffix is a Scandinavian word ending, for a place name based on a personal name. It is suggested that the origin is Farmstead or village of Haddr.Haceby consists of a small number of houses, farm buildings, and the Grade I listed redundant St Barbara's Church. Although dedicated to St Barbara, it is also attributed to St Margaret or to both saints. Earthworks to the west of the village are still visible as the remains of a Roman Villa. In 1818 a tessellated pavement and other Roman remains were discovered.The village's war memorial is found combined with that of Newton, in Newton's St Botolph Church.

Part of this boundary is the ancient 'long hollow', and part the East Glen river. There are small woodlands on the eastern edge of the parish. The parish is around 80m above sea level on the Lincolnshire limestone hills between Grantham and the Fens.College Farmhouse dates back to 1677.For the purposes of local democracy, the parish is administered as part of adjacent Ropsley and Humby.

On 1 April 1931 the parish was abolished and merged with Braceby to form "Braceby and Sapperton"."Causennis" is a Roman settlement site less than 1 mile (1.6 km) to the south of Sapperton on the East Glenn River, near its source. It was excavated between 1973 and 1981, and again 1984 to 1988, revealing stone buildings, iron-smelting furnaces and various artifacts. The Hall is a Grade II listed building and dates possibly from the 16th century, with 17th- and 18th-century alterations, and very minor 19th- and 20th-century alterations.St Nicholas parish church is Grade II listed and dedicated to Saint Nicholas. It dates from the 12th to the 15th century, with 19th-century alterations. The tower is 13th-century and there is a 12th-century font.The ecclesiastical parish is part of The North Beltisloe Group of parishes, in the Deanery of Beltisloe in the Diocese of Lincoln. From 2006 to 2011, the incumbent was The Revd Richard Ireson.
