Mowsley

Bosworth Hall actually consists of two houses, the Old Hall and a newer Georgian-style hall, situated in Theddingworth Road, Husbands Bosworth, Leicestershire. The Old Hall, originally constructed in Norman times, was substantially renovated in the 16th century as a west facing country house. The new and additional Georgian hall was then built facing south west, adjoining the older house, in about 1790. In about 1870 a Victorian Gothic wing was created to link the two buildings. The whole is a Grade II* listed building. The older Tudor house has two storeys with attics in a range of five gables. Some traces of the original Norman construction can be seen in the present building. A 19th century wing to the left added a sixth gable to the frontage. To the south the 1870 wing created the link to the three-storey, five-bay Georgian house.

Theddingworth railway station was a railway station serving Theddingworth in the English county of Leicestershire. It was opened on the Rugby and Stamford Railway in 1850.

Husbands Bosworth is a large crossroads village in South Leicestershire on the A5199 road from Leicester city to Northampton and the A4304 road from Junction 20 of the M1 motorway to Market Harborough. The population of the village was 1,027 at the 2011 census.John Cook, Solicitor General and later the prosecutor in the trial of Charles I, was baptised here on 18 September 1608 in All Saints' church. To the north of the village the Grand Union Canal passes through a 1,166-yard (1,066 m) tunnel that bears the name of the village. The River Welland passes one mile to the south-east, very close to its source. The River Avon also passes close by, two miles to the south-west. On the southern boundary of the village is a thriving allotment site, immediately adjacent to the village's cemetery. The nearest railway station is Market Harborough. Husbands Bosworth has long been a historic centre for the Catholic Faith. Since the Reformation, Mass has been celebrated at Bosworth Hall. In the 1870s St Mary’s Church was built to serve local Catholics. Today the church is served by the Personal Ordinariate of Our Lady of Walsingham. The Ordinariate allows former Anglicans to enter into the Catholic Church whilst retaining some of their traditions and style of worship. Sunday Mass is at 11am and there is also a midweek program of worship.

Laughton is a small village and parish situated in Leicestershire, approximately 5 miles west of Market Harborough. Old buildings dominate Laughton with currently only two modern buildings situated in the village. There is a row of cottages opposite the church that has parts dating back to medieval times. The church itself dates back to the 13th century and had a major renovation in 1879. The population is included in the civil parish of Gumley.

Theddingworth is a village and civil parish in Leicestershire, England. The population of the civil parish at the 2011 census was 217. The parish includes the neighbouring hamlet of Hothorpe, which lies across the county boundary in Northamptonshire. Theddingworth lies about 8 kilometres (5.0 mi) west of Market Harborough on the road to Lutterworth. It is on the north bank of the River Welland, which forms the county border with Northamptonshire. The Grand Union Canal passes within a mile. There is a church and Congregational Chapel. Theddingworth railway station was a former stop on the Rugby to Market Harborough line.

Hothorpe Hall, in Northamptonshire, is a Georgian manor house near Market Harborough. It lies in the parish of Marston Trussell in Northamptonshire but is close to Theddingworth in Leicestershire. The hall is currently used as a conference centre and wedding venue.

Knaptoft is a deserted medieval village and civil parish in the Harborough district of Leicestershire and lies approximately 9.7 miles (15.6 km) south of the city of Leicester, England. According to the University of Nottingham English Place-names project, the settlement name Knaptoft could mean "cnafa" (Old English) for 'a boy, a young man, a servant, a menial, or a personal name' and 'toft' (Old English), the plot of ground in which a dwelling stands. The population of the civil parish at the 2011 census was 47.

Royal Air Force Husbands Bosworth or more simply RAF Husbands Bosworth is a former Royal Air Force station near the village of Husbands Bosworth in the county of Leicestershire, United Kingdom.

Saddington Reservoir is a canal reservoir and 19.1 hectares (47 acres) biological Site of Special Scientific Interest south of Saddington in Leicestershire. The reservoir was built between 1793 and 1797 to supply water to the Grand Union canal.The reservoir has a range of wetland habitats, such as open water, wet willow woodland and swamp. There are a number of nationally scarce beetles, such as Carabus monilis, Atheta basicornis, Eledona agricola and Gyrophaena lucidula.There is public access to the site.

Saddington is a village in the Harborough district of Leicestershire, England. It is close to Smeeton Westerby, Gumley, Kibworth and Fleckney. The population of the civil parish at the 2011 census was 309.It is a small hilltop village close to and south of Fleckney. It overlooks the Saddington Reservoir, constructed in 1802 to feed the Grand Union Canal. The canal flows through the parish including in a tunnel of 0.5 miles (0.80 km). The church of St Helen in medieval style largely dates from 1872–73 and retains an original 13th century north doorway and other masonry of around 1300 and around 1400.The Saddington Treacle Mine is a notable fictional local attraction, often referred to by locals of the surrounding villages. Saddington is also home to the Manor Farm Riding School along the main street next to the church of St Helen.

Shearsby is a rural village in the English county of Leicestershire. Shearsby is in the Harborough district around nine miles due south of Leicester and north east of Lutterworth. The population of the civil parish at the 2011 census was 240.

Harborough () is a constituency covering the south east of Leicestershire represented in the House of Commons of the UK Parliament since 2017 by Neil O'Brien of the Conservative Party. It is considered a safe seat for the Conservative Party, as there has been a Conservative representative elected since 1924 (with a brief 5 year interlude from the Labour Party in 1945). Under the 2023 Periodic Review of Westminster constituencies, the constituency will only be subject to minor boundary changes, but is to be renamed Harborough, Oadby and Wigston - to be first contested at the next general election.
