The Combat Capabilities Development Command (CCDC) C5ISR Center, formerly the Communications-Electronics RD&E Center (CERDEC), is the United States Army information technologies and integrated systems center. CCDC C5ISR Center is headquartered at Aberdeen Proving Ground in Maryland, with activities at Fort Belvoir in Virginia and Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst in New Jersey. As one of the 10 organizations that make up the Combat Capabilities Development Command, a subordinate organization of the Army Futures Command, CCDC C5ISR Centers supplies Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Cyber, Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (C5ISR) capabilities, technologies and integrated solutions for the Soldier.

The North Hanover Township School District is a comprehensive community public school district which serves children in pre-Kindergarten through sixth grades from North Hanover Township and from the McGuire Air Force Base unit of Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, in Burlington County, New Jersey, United States. The district operates three elementary schools, with two located in Jacobstown and one on the grounds of Joint Base MDL. It is the largest K-6 school district in Burlington County. As of the 2020–21 school year, the district, comprised of three schools, had an enrollment of 1,127 students and 124.1 classroom teachers (on an FTE basis), for a student–teacher ratio of 9.1:1.The district is classified by the New Jersey Department of Education as being in District Factor Group "CD", the sixth-highest of eight groupings. District Factor Groups organize districts statewide to allow comparison by common socioeconomic characteristics of the local districts. From lowest socioeconomic status to highest, the categories are A, B, CD, DE, FG, GH, I and J.Public school students in seventh through twelfth grades attend the schools of the Northern Burlington County Regional School District, which also serves students from Chesterfield Township, Mansfield Township and Springfield Township, along with children of military personnel based at Joint Base McGuire–Dix–Lakehurst. The schools in the district (with 2020–21 enrollment data from the National Center for Education Statistics) are Northern Burlington County Regional Middle School with 743 students in grades 7 - 8 and Northern Burlington County Regional High School with 1,403 students in grades 9-12. Both schools are in the Columbus section of Mansfield Township. The district's 2013-14 budget included $35.6 million in spending which is allocated using a formula that reflects the population and the value of the assessed property in each of the constituent municipalities, under which taxpayers in North Hanover Township pay 14.2% of the district's tax levy.

Jacobstown is an unincorporated community located within North Hanover Township, in Burlington County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey. Jacobstown got its name from a Quaker named Jacob Andrew. The community houses the North Hanover Township municipal building, courthouse, and two elementary schools within the North Hanover Township School District.

New Hanover Township is a township in Burlington County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey. As of the 2020 United States census, the township's population was 6,367, a decrease of 1,018 (−13.8%) from the 2010 census count of 7,385, which in turn reflected decline of 2,359 (−24.2%) from the 9,744 counted in the 2000 census. The township, and all of Burlington County, is a part of the Philadelphia-Reading-Camden combined statistical area and the Delaware Valley.

New Egypt is an unincorporated community and census-designated place (CDP) located within Plumsted Township, in Ocean County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey. As of the 2010 United States Census, the CDP's population was 2,512. The community is located at the trijunction of Burlington County, Monmouth County and Ocean counties.

New Egypt High School is a four-year comprehensive public high school that serves students in ninth through twelfth grades from Plumsted Township in Ocean County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey, operating as the lone secondary school of the Plumsted Township School District. As of the 2021–22 school year, the school had an enrollment of 322 students and 32.6 classroom teachers (on an FTE basis), for a student–teacher ratio of 9.9:1. There were 35 students (10.9% of enrollment) eligible for free lunch and 12 (3.7% of students) eligible for reduced-cost lunch.

The Plumsted Township School District is a comprehensive community public school district that educates students in kindergarten though twelfth grade (in addition to special education students in pre-kindergarten) from Plumsted Township, in Ocean County, New Jersey, United States.As of the 2019–20 school year, the district, comprised of three schools, had an enrollment of 1,216 students and 126.6 classroom teachers (on an FTE basis), for a student–teacher ratio of 9.6:1.The district is classified by the New Jersey Department of Education as being in District Factor Group "DE", the fifth-highest of eight groupings. McGuire AFB/McGuire, the common name of the McGuire unit of Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, is a United States Air Force base in Burlington County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey, approximately 16.1 miles (25.9 km) south-southeast of Trenton. McGuire is under the jurisdiction of the Air Mobility Command. It was consolidated with two adjoining US Army and Navy facilities to become part of Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst (JB MDL) on 1 October 2009. The McGuire Air Force Base census-designated place (CDP) is located in portions of both New Hanover Township and North Hanover Township. As of the 2020 United States census, the McGuire Air Force Base CDP had a total population of 4,522.

Joint Base McGuire–Dix–Lakehurst (JB MDL) is a United States military facility located 18 miles (29 km) southeast of Trenton, New Jersey. The base is the only tri-service base in the United States Department of Defense and includes units from all six armed forces branches. The facility is an amalgamation of the United States Air Force's McGuire Air Force Base, the United States Army's Fort Dix and the United States Navy's Naval Air Engineering Station Lakehurst, which were merged on 1 October 2009. It was established in accordance with congressional legislation implementing the recommendations of the 2005 Base Realignment and Closure Commission. The legislation ordered the consolidation of the three facilities which were adjoining, but separate military installations, into a single joint base, one of 12 formed in the United States as a result of the law. The installation commander is Air Force Colonel Anthony L. Smith.

The 225-acre (91 ha) Brigadier General William C. Doyle Memorial Cemetery, spearheaded by its namesake U.S. Army Brigadier General William C. Doyle, was dedicated on May 30, 1986 by Governor Thomas Kean. It is located in the Arneytown section of North Hanover Township in Burlington County, New Jersey. Burials are open to military families living within a 75-mile (121 km) radius of the cemetery. The United States Army Corps of Engineers oversaw the planning and outlay of the cemetery, including its non-denominational chapel. A $5,529,378 expansion grant from the National Cemetery Association, through its Veterans Cemetery Grants Program, was awarded in 2020.The creation of the cemetery arose from a 1965 need when at that time the only two federal veterans' cemeteries in the state were full. The cemetery opened as New Jersey's first state-operated veterans' cemetery, serving as "a lasting memorial to those men and women who put their lives on the line to defend our country's honor and freedom." Among the free benefits accorded to veterans and their families is a chapel for their use, and eternal maintenance. The facility was funded jointly by the state and federal governments and is managed by the Department of Military and Veterans Affairs.

North Hanover Township is a township in Burlington County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey. As of the 2020 United States census, the township's population was 7,963, an increase of 285 (+3.7%) from the 2010 census count of 7,678, which in turn reflected an increase of 331 (+4.5%) from the 7,347 counted in the 2000 census. The township, and all of Burlington County, is a part of the Philadelphia-Reading-Camden combined statistical area and the Delaware Valley.North Hanover Township was incorporated as a township by an act of the New Jersey Legislature on April 12, 1905, from portions of New Hanover Township. Portions of the township were taken on March 4, 1918, to form Wrightstown.

Fort Dix, the common name for the Army Support Activity (ASA) located at Joint Base McGuire–Dix–Lakehurst, is a United States Army post. It is located 16.1 miles (25.9 km) south-southeast of Trenton, New Jersey. Fort Dix is under the jurisdiction of the Air Force Air Mobility Command. As of the 2020 U.S. census, Fort Dix census-designated place (CDP) had a total population of 7,716, of which 5,951 were in New Hanover Township, 1,765 were in Pemberton Township, and none were in Springfield Township (though portions of the CDP are included there).Established in 1917, Fort Dix was in 2009 combined with adjoining U.S. Air Force and Navy facilities to become Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst (JB MDL) in 2009. However, it remains commonly known as "Fort Dix", "ASA Dix", or "Dix". During 2015 to 2016, Colonel Shelley Balderson was commander, making her the first female commander of Fort Dix in the base's century-long history.
