The North Hanover Township School District is a comprehensive community public school district which serves children in pre-Kindergarten through sixth grades from North Hanover Township and from the McGuire Air Force Base unit of Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, in Burlington County, New Jersey, United States. The district operates three elementary schools, with two located in Jacobstown and one on the grounds of Joint Base MDL. It is the largest K-6 school district in Burlington County. As of the 2020–21 school year, the district, comprised of three schools, had an enrollment of 1,127 students and 124.1 classroom teachers (on an FTE basis), for a student–teacher ratio of 9.1:1.The district is classified by the New Jersey Department of Education as being in District Factor Group "CD", the sixth-highest of eight groupings. District Factor Groups organize districts statewide to allow comparison by common socioeconomic characteristics of the local districts. From lowest socioeconomic status to highest, the categories are A, B, CD, DE, FG, GH, I and J.Public school students in seventh through twelfth grades attend the schools of the Northern Burlington County Regional School District, which also serves students from Chesterfield Township, Mansfield Township and Springfield Township, along with children of military personnel based at Joint Base McGuire–Dix–Lakehurst. The schools in the district (with 2020–21 enrollment data from the National Center for Education Statistics) are Northern Burlington County Regional Middle School with 743 students in grades 7 - 8 and Northern Burlington County Regional High School with 1,403 students in grades 9-12. Both schools are in the Columbus section of Mansfield Township. The district's 2013-14 budget included $35.6 million in spending which is allocated using a formula that reflects the population and the value of the assessed property in each of the constituent municipalities, under which taxpayers in North Hanover Township pay 14.2% of the district's tax levy.

North Hanover Township is a township in Burlington County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey. As of the 2020 United States census, the township's population was 7,963, an increase of 285 (+3.7%) from the 2010 census count of 7,678, which in turn reflected an increase of 331 (+4.5%) from the 7,347 counted in the 2000 census. The township, and all of Burlington County, is a part of the Philadelphia-Reading-Camden combined statistical area and the Delaware Valley.North Hanover Township was incorporated as a township by an act of the New Jersey Legislature on April 12, 1905, from portions of New Hanover Township. Portions of the township were taken on March 4, 1918, to form Wrightstown.

The 225-acre (91 ha) Brigadier General William C. Doyle Memorial Cemetery, spearheaded by its namesake U.S. Army Brigadier General William C. Doyle, was dedicated on May 30, 1986 by Governor Thomas Kean. It is located in the Arneytown section of North Hanover Township in Burlington County, New Jersey. Burials are open to military families living within a 75-mile (121 km) radius of the cemetery. The United States Army Corps of Engineers oversaw the planning and outlay of the cemetery, including its non-denominational chapel. A $5,529,378 expansion grant from the National Cemetery Association, through its Veterans Cemetery Grants Program, was awarded in 2020.The creation of the cemetery arose from a 1965 need when at that time the only two federal veterans' cemeteries in the state were full. The cemetery opened as New Jersey's first state-operated veterans' cemetery, serving as "a lasting memorial to those men and women who put their lives on the line to defend our country's honor and freedom." Among the free benefits accorded to veterans and their families is a chapel for their use, and eternal maintenance. The facility was funded jointly by the state and federal governments and is managed by the Department of Military and Veterans Affairs.

Arneytown is an unincorporated community located along Province Line Road on the border of North Hanover Township in Burlington County and Upper Freehold Township in Monmouth County of New Jersey. It is two miles (3.2 km) north of Jacobstown. Province Line Road was on the boundary line between the Provinces of East Jersey and West Jersey. The area was once called Upper Freehold by 18th-century Quaker settlers. With the establishment of the first post office in 1827, it became known as Arneytown.

Cookstown is an unincorporated community and census-designated place (CDP) located within New Hanover Township in Burlington County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey. Located near Fort Dix, the area is served as United States Postal Service ZIP Code 08511. As of the 2000 United States census, the population for ZIP Code Tabulation Area 08511 was 1,133.

The Combat Capabilities Development Command (CCDC) C5ISR Center, formerly the Communications-Electronics RD&E Center (CERDEC), is the United States Army information technologies and integrated systems center. CCDC C5ISR Center is headquartered at Aberdeen Proving Ground in Maryland, with activities at Fort Belvoir in Virginia and Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst in New Jersey. As one of the 10 organizations that make up the Combat Capabilities Development Command, a subordinate organization of the Army Futures Command, CCDC C5ISR Centers supplies Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Cyber, Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (C5ISR) capabilities, technologies and integrated solutions for the Soldier.

Davisville is an unincorporated community located within Chesterfield Township in Burlington County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey. The settlement, located at the intersection of County Route 528 and Chesterfield-Arneytown Road (CR 664), is in a rural area in the eastern portion of the township. It consists mainly of farmland with some houses dotting the few roads that pass through the area.

The New Hanover Township School District is a consolidated public school district that serves students in pre-kindergarten through eighth grade from non-military portions of New Hanover Township (including its Cookstown section) and Wrightstown, two communities in Burlington County, New Jersey, United States.As of the 2019–20 school year, the district, comprised of one school, had an enrollment of 180 students and 21.8 classroom teachers (on an FTE basis), for a student–teacher ratio of 8.3:1. In the 2016-17 school year, the district had the 40th-smallest enrollment of any school district in the state.The district is classified by the New Jersey Department of Education as being in District Factor Group "B", the second lowest of eight groupings. From lowest socioeconomic status to highest, the categories are A, B, CD, DE, FG, GH, I and J.For ninth through twelfth grades, students from both New Hanover Township and Wrightstown attend Bordentown Regional High School as part of a sending/receiving relationship with the Bordentown Regional School District, a regional K-12 school district that serves students from Bordentown City, Bordentown Township and Fieldsboro Borough. As of the 2019–20 school year, the high school had an enrollment of 791 students and 57.0 classroom teachers (on an FTE basis), for a student–teacher ratio of 13.9:1.

The Zurbrugg Mansion, which has also been known as The Columns, at 531 Delaware Avenue in Delanco Township, Burlington County, New Jersey, was built in 1910. It was designed by architects Furness, Evans & Co. in Classical Revival style. Vacant for several years after being used as a nursing home, it was acquired by Grapevine Development and subsequently listed on the National Register of Historic Places on August 28, 2009, for its significance in architecture. The listing included two contributing buildings, a contributing structure, and a contributing object.

New Jersey United Christian Academy is a private Christian middle and high school serving students in sixth through twelfth grades, located in the Cream Ridge section of Upper Freehold Township, in Monmouth County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey. New Jersey United Christian Academy (NJUCA) is ranked by Niche as the #3 Best Private High School in Monmouth County. As of the 2021–22 school year, the school had an enrollment of 66 students and 10.8 classroom teachers (on an FTE basis), for a student–teacher ratio of 6.1:1. The school's student body was 69.7% (46) White, 19.7% (13) Asian, 7.6% (5) Hispanic and 3.0% (2) Black.
