Accordia is a housing development in Cambridge, England. The 9.5-hectare (23.5-acre) site includes 378 dwellings by Feilden Clegg Bradley Architects, Maccreanor Lavington and Alison Brooks Architects and has been constructed in three phases. The first phase of the development became the first housing development to win the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA) Stirling Prize in 2008.

It runs between the junction of Trumpington Street and Lensfield Road at the northern end to the junction of the High Street in the village of Trumpington (the A1309) and Long Road at the southern end. The Cambridge University Botanic Garden is a botanical garden located in Cambridge, England, associated with the university Department of Plant Sciences (formerly Botany School). It lies between Trumpington Road to the west, Bateman Street to the north and Hills Road to the east. The garden covers an area of 16 hectares (40 acres). The site is almost entirely on level ground and in addition to its scientific value, the garden is highly rated by gardening enthusiasts. It holds a plant collection of over 8,000 plant species from all over the world to facilitate teaching and research. The garden was created for the University of Cambridge in 1831 by Professor John Stevens Henslow (Charles Darwin's mentor) and was opened to the public in 1846. The third-highest temperature recorded in the UK, 38.7 °C (101.7 °F), was recorded on 25 July 2019 at the garden.

Sedley Taylor Road is a road in west Cambridge, England. It is reputedly one of the most expensive in the UK and the most expensive in East Anglia. The road was built on land owned by Trinity College and named after one of its professors, Sedley Taylor (1834–1920). No 31 was the home of Nobel Prize-winning physicists Sir Nevill Mott and Sir John Cockcroft. No 12 (Tretherbyn) was home to explorer and archaeologist Tom Lethbridge. Alcantara, a house near the South end of the street, is grade II listed.No 22 was built by architect S E Urwin for his own use.The street numbering is consecutive, starting at 1 on the West side at the North end counting to 23 at the South end. 24 to 44 are on the East side of the road, but until 2009 there was no number 30. The postcode on the planning consent for No 30 also illustrates that postcodes in the road were changed in 2007, from CB2 2xx to CB2 8xx, and older documents referring to the street may therefore not use a correct postcode. The East side houses formerly had direct access to the Perse School playing fields but that ended when a rabbit fence was erected in the playing fields in 2011. Speed reduction measures including "gates" (limiting the road to half-width) and humps were installed in 2009. In 2012, residents unsuccessfully opposed plans for a new sports pavilion in the land to the West of the road.Sedley Taylor Road is mentioned in Tom Sharpe's book Grantchester Grind as the home of the widow of local solicitor, Waxthorne.

Hills Road Sixth Form College (commonly referred to as HRSFC, Hills Road or just Hills) is a public sector co-educational sixth form college in Cambridge, England, providing full-time A-level courses for approximately 2000 sixth form students from the surrounding area and a wide variety of courses to around 4,000 part-time students of all ages in the adult education programme, held as daytime and evening classes.

Cavendish College, Cambridge was a public hostel of the University of Cambridge, active from 1873 to 1892. Its former buildings now house Homerton College, Cambridge.

Homerton College is a constituent college of the University of Cambridge. Its first premises were acquired in Homerton, London in 1768, by an informal gathering of Protestant dissenters with origins in the seventeenth century. In 1894, the college moved from Homerton High Street, Hackney, London, to Cambridge. Homerton was admitted as an "Approved Society" of the university in 1976, and received its Royal charter in 2010, affirming its status as a full college of the university. The college celebrated its 250th anniversary in 2018.With around 600 undergraduates, 800 postgraduates, and 90 fellows, it has more students than any other Cambridge college but, because only half of those are resident undergraduates, its undergraduate presence is similar to large colleges such as Trinity and St John's. The college has particularly strong ties to public service, as well as academia, having educated many prominent dissenting thinkers, educationalists, politicians, and missionary explorers.The college has extensive grounds which encompass sports fields, water features and beehives, and the focal point of the college, its Victorian Gothic hall. It also has a wide range of student clubs and societies, including Homerton College Boat Club, Homerton College Music Society and the Homerton College Rugby Football Club.
