Oberwiesenfeld Army Airfield is a former military airfield, located in Munich, Bavaria, Germany.

The Olympia Schwimmhalle is an aquatics centre located in the Olympiapark in Munich, Germany. It hosted the swimming, diving, water polo, and the swimming part of the modern pentathlon events at the 1972 Summer Olympics. At the 1972 Olympics, the stadium had a 9000-seat capacity which was reduced to 1,500 soon after. During the 1972 Olympics, the Olympic Records in all 29 Olympic swimming events were broken as well as the World Records in 20 events.The Schwimmhalle is unique for its roof construction, which is a lightweight stressed-skin structure. This curved structure bears loads through tension only, not compression. The double curvature in the roof design provides the support, which is further stabilized through pretensioned guy wires. The Olympia Schwimmhalle is where swimmer Mark Spitz broke the record for most individual gold medals won in a single Olympics with seven gold medals. This record was not surpassed until fellow swimmer Michael Phelps won eight gold medals at the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing.

The Münchner Sommernachtstraum (Munich Midsummer Nights Dream) is a show event that has been held annually in July since 2004 in Olympiapark.

Olympiastadion (German pronunciation: [ʔoˈlʏmpi̯aːˌʃtaːdi̯ɔn]) is a stadium located in Munich, Germany. Situated at the heart of the Olympiapark München in northern Munich, the stadium was built as the main venue for the 1972 Summer Olympics. With an original capacity of 77,000 for the Olympics, the stadium also hosted many major football matches including the 1974 FIFA World Cup Final, 75,000 seats, and the UEFA Euro 1988 Final. It hosted the European Cup Finals in 1979, 1993 and 1997. Its current capacity is 69,250. It has 11,800 standing places and 57,450 seats.Until the construction of Allianz Arena for the 2006 FIFA World Cup, the stadium was home to FC Bayern Munich and TSV 1860 Munich. Unlike the Olympiastadion, the new stadium was purpose-built for football alone.

At the 1972 Summer Olympics in Munich, 38 events in athletics were contested, 24 for men and 14 for women. There were a total number of 1324 participating athletes from 104 countries.

Olympiahalle is a multi-purpose arena located in Am Riesenfeld in Munich, Germany, part of Olympiapark. The arena is used for concerts, sporting events, exhibitions or trade fairs. The official seating capacity for the arena varies from some 12,500 to 15,500.

The Olympic Tower (German: Olympiaturm) in the Olympic Park, Munich has an overall height of 291 m (955 ft) and a weight of 52,500 tons. At a height of 190 m (620 ft) there is an observation platform as well as an exhibition commemorating the 50th anniversary of the Tower. Previously in that space was a small rock-and-roll museum housing various memorabilia. Since its opening in 1968, the tower has registered over 43 million visitors (as of 2018). At a height of 182 m (597 ft) there is a revolving restaurant, which seats 230 people. A full revolution takes 53 minutes. The tower also serves as a broadcast tower, and has one Deutsche Telekom maintenance elevator with a speed of 4 m/s (13 ft/s), as well as two visitor lifts with a speed of 7 m/s (23 ft/s) which have a capacity of about 30 people per car. The travel time is about 30 seconds. The tower is open daily from 09:00 to 24:00.There is a concept of making virtual reality weather timelapse service from Olympiaturm. In case it were implemented, it would become the first tower worldwide with such function.

The Erinnerungsort Olympia-Attentat is a memorial in the Munich Olympiapark for the victims of the Munich massacre during the 1972 Summer Olympics in Munich, West Germany, at which eleven Israeli Olympic team members were taken hostage and eventually killed, along with a German police officer, by the Palestinian terrorist group Black September. The 10 minutes long 11 meter width Video Installation loop is shown each day from 8 to 22 o'clock. Language is German with English subtitles. The memorial was opened on September 6. 2017 by the President of Israel Reuven Rivlin and President of Germany Frank-Walter Steinmeier.

Olympia Eishalle (originally known as Eisstadion am Oberwiesenfeld) is an indoor sporting arena located in Munich, Germany. It is used for various indoor events and is the home arena of the ice hockey team EHC München now playing in the Deutsche Eishockey Liga (previously it played in 2nd Bundesliga and lower leagues). The capacity of the arena is 6,256 spectators.

Radstadion was a velodrome located in Olympiapark in Munich, Germany. They hosted the track portion of the cycling competitions for the 1972 Summer Olympics. The track was 285.714 metres (937 ft 5 in) long by 7 metres (23 ft) wide with banking that varied between 11.56 and 48.32 degrees.

SAP Garden is a planned 11,500-capacity indoor arena, to be built in Olympiapark, Munich. It is expected to be completed in 2022 at the earliest. The site will be built at the location of the former Radstadion which was demolished in 2015. It will become home ground for ice hockey team EHC Red Bull Munich and basketball team Bayern Munich. The venue will host several matches for the 2024 European Men's Handball Championship.

The Eisenbahnkaserne ("Railway Barracks") was a military barracks in Munich that existed from 1890 to 1976. The "Kasernement des Eisenbahnbataillons" (Kasernement of the Railway Battalion) was built in 1888 and 1889. It was located west of today's Olympiapark on Dachauer Straße, where the Bundeswehr Administration Centre is now located.
