The Storm–Adriance–Brinckerhoff House is located on Beekman Road (Dutchess County Route 9) in East Fishkill, New York, United States. It is a wooden building in three parts, the oldest of which dates to the mid-18th century. Some of its inhabitants have been among the prominent residents of the county, and the state. Thomas Storm, a captain in the Continental Army during the Revolutionary War, later served as the state Assembly Speaker. He had George Washington as a guest one night. Members of the Brinckerhoff family, longtime inhabitants of the area, lived in the house until 1930. The house is considered an excellent, well-preserved example of Dutch Colonial architecture. Its modifications and additions reflect changing tastes over the time it was within the Storm family. In 2008 it, along with several other structures on the property, was listed on the National Register of Historic Places. It has been described as "the most historically significant house" in East Fishkill because of the Washington connection.

St. Denis Church is a Roman Catholic parish church under the authority of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of New York, located in Hopewell Junction, Dutchess County, New York. It was established in 1899 as a parish; it was established a mission of St. Mary in Wappingers Falls in 1874 until being elevated in a parish in 1899.

East Fishkill is a town on the southern border of Dutchess County, New York, United States. The population was 29,707 at the 2020 census. The town was once the eastern portion of the town of Fishkill. Hudson Valley Research Park is located in the town. The site once known as IBM East Fishkill, once housed 27 divisions and 4,700 regular employees for IBM Microelectronics, which later became a part of GlobalFoundries. IBM produced microchips at this facility and it also house the advanced, automated processor fabrication facility where IBM's "Cell" processor was co-developed. The fab's current owner is Onsemi.

Chelsea Cove is a census-designated place (CDP) located in the town of Beekman in Dutchess County, New York, United States. It was first listed as a CDP prior to the 2020 census.Chelsea Cove is in southern Dutchess County, in the western part of Beekman, on the northern side of Sylvan Lake. It is 14 miles (23 km) southeast of Poughkeepsie and 10 miles (16 km) northeast of Fishkill.

Camp Kinder Ring is a nonprofit 501(c)(3), Jewish summer camp located in Hopewell Junction, New York, accredited by the American Camp Association and run by The Workers Circle.

Stormville Airport (FAA LID: N69) was a public airport located one mile (2 km) northeast of the central business district (CBD) of Stormville, a hamlet located within the Town of East Fishkill in Dutchess County, New York, USA. This general aviation airport covered 155 acres (63 ha) and had one runway. It is no longer used as an airport, even though FAA sectional charts and NOTAMS do not yet indicate that it has closed. It now hosts the Stormville Flea Market several times a year. Stormville was a privately owned, public use airport. Pete and Rose O'Brien ran the airport until their retirement. The current owner is their daughter Patricia Carnahan. There are no services for aircraft and no aircraft based there. Airport facilities such as runways, taxiways, wind sock, and pavement markings are in poor condition.

Hopewell Junction is a hamlet and census-designated place (CDP) in Dutchess County, New York, United States. The population was 1330 at the 2020 census. It is part of the Poughkeepsie–Newburgh–Middletown, NY Metropolitan Statistical Area as well as the larger New York–Newark–Bridgeport, NY-NJ-CT-PA Combined Statistical Area. Hopewell Junction is located within the town of East Fishkill. It was originally a railroad junction where the Newburgh, Dutchess and Connecticut Railroad met the New York and New England Railroad and Dutchess County Railroad. All three became part of the New York, New Haven and Hartford Railroad system, and the ND&C to the southwest and the NY&NE are now owned by the Housatonic Railroad and used by Metro-North for equipment moves between its Hudson Line and Harlem Line. The last remaining section of passenger line, a branch from Pine Plains, south through Milbrook, to Hopewell Junction, to Beacon, lost its passenger service at some point between 1932 and 1938. The closest passenger facility is Beacon station on Metro-North's Hudson Line. Today, Hopewell Junction sits astride the bike/walk Empire State Trail where it is the juncture between the Dutchess Rail Trail running west to the Walkway Over the Hudson at Poughkeepsie, New York and the more recently constructed Maybrook Trailway winding through the hills to Brewster, New York to almost meet the Putnam County Trailway and its continuations to New York City. It was ranked #31 on Money magazine's "Most Desirable Places to Live" for 2005.

Sylvan Lake is a hamlet in the Town of Beekman, Dutchess County, New York, United States. It is named after the lake it sits on, which was formed during the Ice Age.The early Indians originally named it "poughquag", which means "round body of water". A smaller lake known as Hidden Lake is where Daniel Delany, in the late 19th century, discovered iron ore and made his fortune. He eventually bought the adjacent property which was the entire shoreline of Sylvan Lake and rebuilt St. Denis Church for the town. Some iron ore mining also took place along the shores of Sylvan Lake in the early 1930s and some of these retainer wall pilings are still standing and can be clearly seen from a boat. When the mine was filled with water, construction equipment and mining tools were left on the bottom, and are present today.

Hillside Lake is a hamlet and census-designated place (CDP) in Dutchess County, New York, United States. The population was 1,084 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Poughkeepsie–Newburgh–Middletown, NY Metropolitan Statistical Area as well as the larger New York–Newark–Bridgeport, NY-NJ-CT-PA Combined Statistical Area.
