Murray's Sturgeon Shop is an appetizing store and neighborhood fixture in Manhattan's Upper West Side. It is located on Broadway between 89th Street and 90th Street. The shop was founded by Murray Bernstein in 1945. A few years later, his brother, Sam, became a co-owner. The Bernsteins were born in Poland and immigrated to New York in the 1930s to escape anti-semitism.The store specializes in smoked fish, especially sturgeon, and caviar. In 1964, the New York Times described it as "one of the busiest places on Broadway" and praised its products as "first quality". The store ships their fish all over the world, and in 1980 Murray's appetizers were being sold at the Neiman Marcus Epicure Shop in White Plains, New York.Show business personalities Sammy Cahn and Zero Mostel were regulars at the shop.In 1974, the shop was sold to restaurateur Artie Cutler. Artie took in a partner, Harold "Heshy" Berliner, in 1979. They sold the business to Ira Goller in 1990.Sam Bernstein died in 1977 and Murray Bernstein died in 2000.

The 91st Street station was a local station on the IRT Broadway–Seventh Avenue Line of the New York City Subway. It was located at 91st Street and Broadway on the Upper West Side of Manhattan. The 91st Street station was constructed for the Interborough Rapid Transit Company (IRT) as part of the city's first subway line, which was approved in 1900. Construction of the line segment that includes the 91st Street station began on August 22 of the same year. The station opened on October 27, 1904, as one of the original 28 stations of the New York City Subway. The station was closed on February 2, 1959, as a result of a platform lengthening project at the two adjacent stations, 86th Street and 96th Street. The 91st Street station contains two abandoned side platforms and four tracks. The station was built with tile and mosaic decorations. Many of these decorations have been covered with graffiti.

The Astor Court Building is a 12-story, 164 unit apartment building on Broadway between West 89th Street and 90th Street on the Upper West Side of Manhattan in New York City, built in 1916. It was designed by architect Charles A. Platt for developer Vincent Astor. The twelve-story building is constructed around a landscaped courtyard. Architectural historian Christopher Gray believes that the landscape architect may have been Ellen Biddle Shipman. The building became a co-op in 1985.Famous residents include Joy Behar from The View.

The Greystone, also known as the Greystone Hotel is a fourteen-story building at 212-218 W. 91st Street on Manhattan's Upper West Side. Samuel and Henry A. Blumenthal bought the property from the Astor estate in 1922 with marketing beginning two years later. It was designed by the architectural firm of Schwartz & Gross.The building is currently in residential use and the former ballroom has since been a series of restaurants including Polistina's and Big Daddy's.Among its notable residents was Alberto Arroyo.

The Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church is a Greek Orthodox church on Manhattan's Upper West Side at West End Avenue and West 91st Street.

Congregation Shaare Zedek (Gates of Righteousness) is a Conservative synagogue located on West 93rd Street in Manhattan. On July 27, 2017, despite the efforts of preservationists to save it, a New York State Supreme Court judge approved the sale of the building to a developer who planned to tear it down and build a 14-story condominium.

601 West End Avenue is a luxury apartment building on West End Avenue on the northwest corner of West 89th Street in the Upper West Side of Manhattan in New York City. The thirteen-story building was designed by noted architect Emery Roth and built in 1915. In a review by the architectural critic Carter B. Horsley, the building was praised as "one of the city's most elegant and distinguished apartment buildings."

Lucciola is an Italian trattoria restaurant that serves Italian cuisine in New York. It was founded in 2017 in New York City by Michele Casadei Massari along with Alberto Ghezzi. It serves typical food from the Italian city of Bologna located in the area of Emilia Romagna. The name "Lucciola" means firefly, and was inspired by Pasolini article.

The Claremont Riding Academy, originally Claremont Stables, 175 West 89th Street, between Columbus and Amsterdam Avenues on Manhattan's Upper West Side, was designed by Frank A. Rooke and built in 1892. Closed in 2007, Claremont was the oldest continuously operated equestrian stable in New York City and the last public stable in Manhattan. The building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1980 and designated a New York City Landmark in 1990. Since 2010, it has belonged to the Stephen Gaynor School.

The Stephen Gaynor School is an independent private, special education school in Manhattan, New York, United States, associated with New York Interschool. The school was started with five students in 1962.

Advent Lutheran Church is a church affiliated with the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America located in the Upper West Side, Manhattan, New York City. The church building was designed by the architectural firm of William Appleton Potter (1842–1909).
