Priestnall School

The Crown (officially listed as the Crown Inn) is a Grade II listed public house set back from Didsbury Road and accessed from Vale Close in Heaton Mersey, a suburb of Stockport, Greater Manchester, England. Built in the late 18th or early 19th century, it began as three or four cottages later combined to form an inn. Robinsons Brewery acquired the freehold in 1912 and continues to own the building.

Heaton Moor has Victorian housing, built between 1852 and 1892 along affluent tree-lined streets which follow the field patterns of a former agricultural economy.

St Margaret's Church is in Burnage Lane, Burnage, a neighbourhood of Manchester, England. It is an active Anglican parish church in the deanery of Heaton, the archdeaconry of Manchester, and the diocese of Manchester. It is recorded in the National Heritage List for England as a Grade II listed building, having been designated on 9 February 2012.

Burnage is a suburb of the city of Manchester in North West England, about 4 miles (6.4 km) south of Manchester city centre and bisected by the dual carriageway of Kingsway. Within the boundaries of the historic county of Lancashire, the population of the Burnage Ward at the 2011 census was 15,227. It lies between Withington to the west, Levenshulme to the north, Heaton Chapel to the east and Didsbury and Heaton Mersey to the south.

The Church of St Nicholas, Kingsway, Burnage, Manchester, is a Modernist church of 1930–2 by N. F. Cachemaille-Day, Lander and Welch. It was enlarged in 1964 with a bay on the west side, also by Cachemaille-Day. Pevsner describes the church as "a milestone in the history of church architecture in England". The church was designated a Grade II* listed building on 10 October 1980.St Nicholas is one of a relatively small group of Modernist churches in England, and one of the earliest. It is "of brick, high, sheer and sculptural, with a German-inspired passion for brick grooves and ribbing, both vertical and horizontal." The building cost £11,600. The interior was plainly furnished, "the walls bare, the windows clear, but the ceiling is coffered in blue, red and gold".In 2001–3, the church underwent significant conservation, at a cost of over 1 million pounds. The conservation included a re-ordering of the interior to provide additional meeting space, and offices, including the insertion of a "striking glass circular meeting room", designed by Anthony Grimshaw Associates from Wigan. "The church's spatial complexity is not spoiled, but rather added to", by "hanging the meeting room above head height".

Burnage railway station is a railway station in south Manchester, England, in the suburb of Burnage on the Styal Line. The station is served by Manchester – Crewe Northern Trains stopping services to Manchester Airport. It caters mainly for commuter traffic, being electrified at 25 kV AC overhead, and is used by EMU traffic. The station sits on the Styal Line to Manchester Airport, one of the congested lines on the national rail network. Historically it has been served by a half-hourly service to Manchester Airport/Crewe and Manchester Piccadilly. Since May 2018 services operate on a 'skip-stop' basis at irregular intervals to increase capacity on the line. As a designated Northern Connect stop, a direct express service to Blackpool North via Chorley was introduced as part of this timetable change. This was replaced by calls on services between Windermere/Barrow-in-Furness and Manchester Airport running via Wigan North Western as part of the December 2019 timetable change.
