San Diego International Airport

Washington Street is an at-grade station on the Blue Line and Green Line of the San Diego Trolley system. It is located along the Surf Line right of way at West Washington Street, in a largely industrial area of San Diego. The stop also serves the Marine Corps Recruit Depot San Diego and the Mission Hills neighborhood, which includes a variety of medium-density housing within blocks of the station. This station opened on June 16, 1996 as part of the North/South Line (later renamed the Blue Line) extension to the Old Town Transit Center. On July 2, 2011, the station was closed to undergo renovations as part of the Trolley Renewal Project. It was originally supposed to be reopened by early September, but numerous construction issues pushed the reopening back to November 24, 2011.

U.S. Coast Guard Air Station San Diego (CGAS San Diego) is a Coast Guard Air Station based in San Diego, California, United States, across the street from San Diego International Airport. CGAS San Diego operates three MH-60T Jayhawk helicopters off the Coast Guard ramp. CGAS San Diego is also adjacent to Sector San Diego which houses two 41-foot Utility Boats, two 21-foot (6.4 m) USCG rigid hull inflatable boats (RHIB's), one 25-foot (7.6 m) RB-HS and three 25-foot (7.6 m) RB-S. Being implemented are two 33-foot (10 m) Special Purpose Craft-Law Enforcement (SPC-LE), which are 33-foot-long (10 m) USCG vessels used for maritime Law Enforcement. The 33-foot (10 m) SPC-LE's have three 275 horsepower (205 kW) Mercury Marine engines along with some of the most advanced electronics systems in existence. Also at the station are two 87-foot (27 m) USCG Coastal Patrol Boats. The air station is physically separated from the rest of the airfield, such that USCG fixed-wing aircraft must cross a busy, 6-lane city street to reach the runway; street light activation opens the locked gates to the airfield and the air station, and also stops traffic while aircraft are traversing the street.

Mission Brewery Plaza is a historic brewery building in the Middletown neighborhood of San Diego, California. The building was added to the National Register of Historic Places on July 6, 1989. It is also the name of a San Diego microbrewery which opened in 2007.

Marine Corps Recruit Depot (commonly referred to as MCRD) San Diego is a United States Marine Corps military installation in San Diego, California. It lies between San Diego Bay and Interstate 5, adjacent to San Diego International Airport and the former Naval Training Center San Diego. MCRD San Diego's main mission is the initial training of enlisted male and female recruits living west of the Mississippi River. Over 21,000 recruits are trained each year. As of 2022, 1.5 million recruits have completed their boot camp training at the Depot. The Depot also is the home to the Marine Corps' Recruiter School and Western Recruiting Region's Drill Instructors School.

The MCRD San Diego Command Museum is located in Day Hall, Building 26, Marine Corps Recruit Depot San Diego, San Diego, California. It exhibits historical items relating to the United States Marine Corps. The museum opened on November 10, 1987, and was officially designated as a command museum on January 8, 1993.

The station offers a connection to the San Diego International Airport via a shuttle stop one block away from this station. This station opened on June 16, 1996 as part of the North/South Line (later renamed the Blue Line) extension to the Old Town Transit Center. The station was closed from May 21 through August 2012 for renovations as part of the Trolley Renewal Project.

Harper's Topiary Garden is a private garden in the Middletown neighborhood of San Diego, California, containing over 50 plant sculptures that have been used in topiary. All of the plants have been trimmed by hand. Entering the garden is prohibited; visitors can only view and photograph the area.

Naval Information Warfare Center Pacific (NIWC Pacific), formerly Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center Pacific (SPAWAR Systems Center Pacific or SSC Pacific) provides the US Navy with research, development, delivery and support of integrated command, control, communications, computers, intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (C4ISR), cyber and space systems and capabilities across all warfighting domains. The only Naval technical center headquartered in a major fleet concentration area, NIWC Pacific manages strategic locations both in the Pacific theater and around the world. NIWC Pacific is advancing the Navy's employment of next generation unmanned systems and autonomous vehicles, large data management, antenna design, clean and renewable energy sources, and both offensive and defensive cyber programs. As the primary research arm of the Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command (SPAWAR), NIWC Pacific supports basic research and prototype development, basic and applied science, extensive test and evaluation services, systems engineering and integration, installation and full spectrum life-cycle support of fielded systems. With worldwide connectivity and numerous partnerships with private industry and academia, NIWC Pacific addresses warfighting requirements for Navy, Joint, National and Coalition war fighters. The laboratory operates as a Naval Working Capital Fund organization and relies on funding from both Navy and non-Navy sponsors rather than direct Congressional appropriations. The vast majority of its workforce is located in San Diego, CA, with detachments located in Hawaii, Guam, and Japan.
