The Grand Hotel et de Milan is a luxury hotel located in the center of Milan, Italy.

Palazzo Gavazzi is a Neoclassical palace in Del Monte district, Milan, Italy. It is typical of the mansions built during the Restoration period, designed by Luigi Clerichetti in 1838 for the wealthy Gavazzi family. Each floor bears its own decorations; Doric columns on the ground floor and various pilasters on the first and second floors, rather than the huge decorative works which were popular at the time. The symmetrical facade, covering three levels, is centred on a portal with four Ionic half-columns supporting the first-floor balcony. The residence was the home of Carlo Cattaneo from 1840 to 1848.

The Museo Poldi Pezzoli is an art museum in Milan, Italy. It is located near the Teatro alla Scala, on Via Manzoni 12. The museum was originated in the 19th century as a private collection of Gian Giacomo Poldi Pezzoli (1822–1879) and his mother, Rosa Trivulzio, of the family of the condottiero Gian Giacomo Trivulzio. Many of the rooms in the palace were redecorated starting in 1846, a commissions entrusted to Luigi Scrosati and Giuseppe Bertini. Individual rooms were often decorated and furnished to match the paintings hung on the walls. The architect Simone Cantoni (1736–1818) rebuilt the palazzo in its present Neoclassical style with an English-style interior garden. In 1850–1853, Poldi Pezzoli commissioned the architect Giuseppe Balzaretto to refurbish his apartment.Pezzoli in his testament left the house and contents to the Brera Academy. Giuseppe Bertini, director of the Academy, opened the museum on 25 April 1881. During World War II, the palazzo suffered severe damage, but the artworks had been placed in safe storage. The museum was reopened in 1951 after reconstruction. The museum is notable for its broad collection of Northern Italian and Netherlandish/Flemish artists. The exhibition includes weaponry, glassworks, ceramics, jewelry, and furnishings.

Palazzo Arese-Bethlen was a neoclassical palazzo in Milan situated on what is now via Monte di Pietà 11. It was destroyed in 1943 following the bombing of Milan in World War II. The palazzo was constructed in 1828 by Francesco Teodoro Arese Lucini, designed by Pelagio Pelagi. The home was built in the centre of Milan, on the large garden of the monastery of Sant Agostino Neri. After the death of count Arese the palazzo was sold to the Hungarian Bethlen family. Because of its central location and vast gardens, the building and grounds were eventually subdivided and sold to developers. When the Bethlen family abandoned the palazzo, it was divided into smaller apartments until it was demolished by developers following damage sustained in the bombing of Milan in World War II, even if this only damaged the central part of the construction and not its wings.

Via Manzoni, is a busy and fashionable street in the Italian city of Milan which leads from the Piazza della Scala north-west towards Piazza Cavour. Notable buildings include the Museo Poldi Pezzoli, the elegant Grand Hotel et de Milan, which was the place of Giuseppe Verdi’s death in 1901, and several fine palazzi. Via Manzoni was originally called Corsia del Giardino before the crossroad with Via Monte Napoleone and Corso di Porta Nuova up until Piazza Cavour. In 1990, when the Montenapoleone station was opened, a fountain designed by Aldo Rossi was placed in Via Croce Rossa, as a monument to Sandro Pertini.

The Gallerie di Piazza Scala (or Gallerie d'Italia - Piazza Scala) is a modern and contemporary museum in Milan, Italy. Located in Piazza della Scala in the Palazzo Brentani and the Palazzo Anguissola, it hosts 195 artworks from the collections of Fondazione Cariplo with a strong representation of nineteenth century Lombard painters and sculptors, including Antonio Canova and Umberto Boccioni. A new section was opened in the Palazzo della Banca Commerciale Italiana on October 25, 2012 with 189 art works from the twentieth century. During the 2017 Corporate Art Awards Ceremony hosted by the President of the Italian Republic Sergio Mattarella at the Quirinal Palace, Gallerie di Piazza Scala received a special award as “Patron of the XXI century”.

The Palazzo Anguissola or Anguissola Traversi is a palace located at Via Manzoni number 10, in central Milan, a city in the northern Italy. Construction began in 1778, and its Neoclassical facade, designed by Luigi Canonica, was added in 1829.The inner core of the building was constructed between 1775 and 1778 under the supervision of Carlo Felice Soave from Lugano with particular attention to the interior garden. The building soon changed hands and in 1829 the exterior was reworked by Luigi Canonica who gave it the finish it maintains today. More ornate than most Milanese Neoclassical buildings, the facade consists of Corinthian pilasters terminating in a frieze with a musical relief clearly inspired by the nearby Scala. The ground floor is however faced with smooth blocks of granite rather than with the more common bugnato finish.Today, together with adjoining Palazzo Brentani the building houses the Gallerie di Piazza Scala.

Casa Manzoni (in English Manzoni House) is a historical palace sited in via Morone 1 near the quadrilateral of fashion in the center of Milan, Italy. Owned by the Manzoni family, the house was the birthplace of the famous Italian writer Alessandro Manzoni in 1785.The building is also the venue of a museum dedicated to the poet life, the National Center for Manzonian Studies and the Historical Lombard Society (that has collected over 40,000 volumes about the history of Lombardy). Built in the 18th century, the palace was restored in 1864 by Andrea Boni in Renaissance Revival style, which especially characterizes the façade overlooking Belgiojoso square, designed in 1864 at the request of Manzoni by architect Andrea Boni and covered with red terracotta. The palace has hosted the gatherings of the club Il Conciliatore; famous men such as Giuseppe Verdi, Cavour and Garibaldi have visited it. On the ground floor, there's the seat of the Historical Lombard Society, a specialized library with a collection of over 40,000 volumes, and the National Center for Manzonian Studies. The Manzoni Museum is located in two rooms overlooking the garden on the ground floor and in six rooms on the first floor: the original furnishing and ornaments have all been entirely preserved.

The Palazzo Brentani is a historic mansion located in the centre of Milan, Italy, at Via Manzoni number 6. Both this palace and the adjacent Palazzo Anguissola sport Neoclassical facades, designed by Luigi Canonica in 1829.
