Antuã (Portuguese pronunciation: [ɐ̃tuˈɐ̃]) is a Portuguese river, located in the Aveiro region. It is the most important tributary of the Ria de Aveiro after the Vouga River. Its name is linked to the former name of Estarreja: Antuão or Anterão. It has its source between Romariz and Fajões, near S. João da Madeira, and it ends west of Estarreja, on the waters of the Ria de Aveiro. The main towns near its banks are S. João da Madeira, Oliveira de Azeméis, and Estarreja. Its main tributary is the Ínsua. It has a total length of about 38 kilometres (24 mi).In 2008, an assessment was completed on the river basin for water pollution. There was a recorded disruption of its freshwater system due to microplastics in water and sediments.

The municipality includes two cities: Ovar (16,849 inhabitants in 2001) and Esmoriz (11,020 inhabitants in 2001).The present Mayor is Salvador Malheiro, elected by the Portuguese Social Democratic Party. The municipal holiday is July 25. Ovar is home to the football team A.D. Ovarense who play at the Estádio Marques da Silva. Parque Marques da Silva is a multi-use stadium in Ovar, Aveiro, Portugal. It is currently used mostly for football matches and is the home stadium of A.D. Ovarense. It is also the home to Ovarense's U19s, U17s, U15s and B teams. The stadium was built in 1954 and is able to hold a seating capacity of 3,200 people.

The municipality is part of the Aveiro District, in the Baixo Vouga subregion, in the Centro Region, Portugal. Main train stations are Estarreja and Avanca. The present Mayor is Diamantino Sabina, elected by a coalition between the Social Democratic Party and the People's Party. The municipal holiday is 13 June, the feast of Saint Anthony of Padua.

São Jacinto is a civil parish in the municipality of Aveiro, Aveiro District, Portugal. The population in 2011 was 993, in an area of 13.84 km2. It is situated between the Aveiro Lagoon and the Atlantic Ocean. The São Jacinto Dunes Natural Reserve lies north of the village.
