Glória e Vera Cruz is a civil parish in the municipality of Aveiro, in the central Portuguese district of Aveiro. It was constituted in 2013, following the national administrative reform, through aggregation of the civil parishes of Glória and Vera Cruz, resulting a cumulative population of 18756 inhabitants dispersed through a total area of 45.32 square kilometres (17.50 sq mi).

Cacia is a civil parish in the municipality of Aveiro. The population in 2011 was 7,354, in an area of 35.75 km².

Parque Marques da Silva is a multi-use stadium in Ovar, Aveiro, Portugal. It is currently used mostly for football matches and is the home stadium of A.D. Ovarense. It is also the home to Ovarense's U19s, U17s, U15s and B teams. The stadium was built in 1954 and is able to hold a seating capacity of 3,200 people.

Aveiro District (Portuguese: Distrito de Aveiro, pronounced [ɐˈvɐjɾu] ) is located in the central coastal region of Portugal. The Diocese of Aveiro (Latin: Dioecesis Aveirensis) is a Latin Church diocese of the Catholic Church in Portugal. It has existed since 1938. In that year it was formed as territories taken from the historical diocese of Coimbra, diocese of Porto and diocese of Viseu were combined. It is a suffragan of the archdiocese of Braga. In 2012, it had 274,400 baptized over 314,800 inhabitants. Its see at Aveiro is also the capital of the district of Aveiro. The bishop is António Manuel Moiteiro Ramos, appointed in 2014.

The Cathedral of Aveiro (Portuguese: Sé de Aveiro), also known as the Church of St. Dominic (Portuguese: Igreja de São Domingos), is a Roman Catholic cathedral in Aveiro, Portugal. It is the seat of the Diocese of Aveiro and built in Portuguese Baroque. It was founded in 1423 as a Dominican convent. Since 6 March 1996, it is on the register of National monuments of Portugal.

A Church of São João Evangelista (Portuguese: Igreja de São João Evangelista), or Carmelite Church of Aveiro, is an 18th-century church in the Praça Marquês de Pombal, in the civil parish of Glória e Vera Cruz, in the Portuguese municipality of Aveiro. It was declared a national monument in 1910.

Aveiro ([aˈvɐjɾu] ) is a city and a municipality in Portugal. Esgueira is an urban civil parish in the municipality (concelho) of Aveiro, in continental Portugal. The population in 2011 was 13,431, in an area of 17.15 km2 (6.62 sq mi).

Antuã (Portuguese pronunciation: [ɐ̃tuˈɐ̃]) is a Portuguese river, located in the Aveiro region. It is the most important tributary of the Ria de Aveiro after the Vouga River. Its name is linked to the former name of Estarreja: Antuão or Anterão. It has its source between Romariz and Fajões, near S. João da Madeira, and it ends west of Estarreja, on the waters of the Ria de Aveiro. The main towns near its banks are S. João da Madeira, Oliveira de Azeméis, and Estarreja. Its main tributary is the Ínsua. It has a total length of about 38 kilometres (24 mi).In 2008, an assessment was completed on the river basin for water pollution. There was a recorded disruption of its freshwater system due to microplastics in water and sediments.
