Coon Rapids–Foley Boulevard station

Richard P. Braun Bridge is a pair of 10-span concrete girder bridges spanning the Mississippi River between Brooklyn Park, Minnesota and Coon Rapids, Minnesota. The eastbound span was built in 1985 to connect Minnesota State Highway 252 with Minnesota State Highway 610 in Coon Rapids. The westbound span was built in 1999 as part of the continued construction of Highway 610 through Brooklyn Park. Richard P. Braun is a former Mn/DOT Commissioner from 1979 to 1986. There is a walkway on the south side of the bridge that connects a trail along West River Road in Brooklyn Park with a trail along the east side of the river in Coon Rapids. The trail on the east side leads to the Coon Rapids Dam, about a mile and a half north.

Springbrook Nature Center is a 127-acre (0.51 km2) park and nature reserve located in Fridley, Minnesota. Springbrook features an interpretive building, over three miles (5 km) of hiking trails through wooded and wetland areas, and various public shelters. The mission of Springbrook Nature Center is to preserve the integrity of and enable access to the natural resource base. Throughout the year, Springbrook hosts various educational programs and community events. It receives approximately 150,000 visitors per year.

The Coon Rapids Dam is a concrete gravity dam on the Mississippi River located in Brooklyn Park and Coon Rapids, Minnesota. It is approximately 12 miles (19 km) north of downtown Minneapolis. Between 1914 and 1966, it provided hydroelectric power generation for northern Twin Cities suburbs. Since 1969, it has been used primarily for recreation. As it does not have any locks, the dam is the northern terminus of the navigable portion of the Mississippi River. The dam is owned by Hennepin County's Three Rivers Park District, but Anoka County owns and operates a park on its side of the river.

Paladin Career and Technical High School is a Minnesota public charter school in Coon Rapids, Minnesota, in the United States. It opened in September 2002 and teaches grades 9–12.

Northtown Mall is a shopping mall located in Blaine, Minnesota, United States. The mall's anchor stores are Hobby Lobby, Best Buy Outlet, 2 Becker Furniture World stores, and Burlington. In addition, Northtown Mall features over 100 stores and restaurants, as well as a food court and Paladin Career and Technical High School public charter school which was open in September 2002. The mall is owned by Washington Prime Group. Over 5.5 million people visit the mall every year.At the time of its grand opening in October 1972, it was the third largest shopping center in the Twin Cities. It was the first regional shopping center in the Twin Cities that was not owned by the Dayton Corporation, which developed the Southdale Center and later "Dales" shopping centers. Northtown Mall was located on 83 acres of land, and built at a cost of $30 million.

Coon Rapids is a northern suburb of Minneapolis, and is the second-largest city by population in Anoka County, Minnesota, United States. The population was 63,599 at the 2020 census, making it the fifteenth largest city in Minnesota and the seventh largest Twin Cities suburb.

Spring Lake Park is a city in Anoka and Ramsey counties in the state of Minnesota. The population was 6,412 at the 2010 census. The city is located mainly within Anoka County. Minnesota State Highways 47 and 65 and County Highway 10 are three of the main routes in the city.

In the 2020 - 2021 school year, The school enrolled about 1,850 students drawn primarily from the Minneapolis suburb of Spring Lake Park as well as parts of the suburbs of Blaine and Fridley. The Spring Lake Park Panthers are part of the North Suburban Conference.
