Weide Army Heliport (IATA: EDG, ICAO: KEDG, FAA LID: EDG) is a heliport, formerly Weide Army Airfield, located 2 miles (3 km) from Edgewood Arsenal, in the U.S. state of Maryland.

The 1945 Edgewood Arsenal explosion killed twelve munitions workers and injured more than fifty on May 25, 1945. Building 509 at Edgewood Arsenal in Harford County, Maryland was a production facility for the assembly of phosphorus igniter assemblies for incendiary bombs, employing a female staff of about 135 assemblers. Nine workers, of whom eight were African-American, were killed in the initial blast, and three more died of their injuries.

Bush River is a tidal estuary in Harford County, Maryland, located about 15 mi (24 km) northeast of Baltimore. The estuary extends from the community of Riverside, south for about 9 mi (14 km), to the Chesapeake Bay. The watershed area of tidal Bush River is 125 mi2 (320 km2), and includes Aberdeen Proving Ground, a military facility.

Edgewood station is a passenger rail station on the Northeast Corridor in the unincorporated community of Edgewood, Maryland, served by the MARC Penn Line. The Presbury Meetinghouse is a historic Methodist church located at Aberdeen Proving Ground, Harford County, Maryland, United States. The original portion of the building is a two-story brick structure and was built about 1720. It is approximately 40.5 feet by 20.25 feet. The building consists of a central hall with a room on either side on both floors. It is frequently mentioned in journals of early Methodist preachers and was the site of 14 visits for preaching and overnight rest by Bishop Francis Asbury between 1772 and 1777.The Presbury Meetinghouse was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1974.

Winters Run is a 14.6-mile-long (23.5 km) river in Harford County, Maryland. The river begins north of the community of Fallston at the confluence of the West and East Branches, and flows southeast about 11 miles (18 km) to Atkisson Dam in Bel Air. The dam and reservoir were built by the U.S. Army in 1942 to provide an auxiliary fresh water source for nearby Edgewood Arsenal. Upon reaching the tidal line, the river is renamed Otter Point Creek, which empties to Bush River and the Chesapeake Bay. The watershed area of Winters Run is about 56 square miles (150 km2).North of the dam is Harford Glen, an environmental study area owned by the Harford County Public Schools to provide environmental education to students around the county.

The Nelson-Reardon-Kennard House, also known as the Methodist Parsonage, is a historic home located at Abingdon, Harford County, Maryland, United States. It is a two-part frame house, with a five-bay, two-story front section built about 1785 and a three-bay, one-room rear service wing. The front porch dates to 1888. It is the oldest documented frame dwelling in Harford County.The Nelson-Reardon-Kennard House was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1991.
