Lusongyuan Hotel

Nanluogu Xiang (simplified Chinese: 南锣鼓巷站; traditional Chinese: 南鑼鼓巷站; pinyin: Nánluógǔxiàng Zhàn) is a station on Line 6 and Line 8 of the Beijing Subway in central Beijing. The station opened on December 30, 2012 to Line 6 service, and to Line 8 service in December 2013. It is located near to the south entrance of the Nanluoguxiang alley, after which it is named. It will also become a transfer station for the Planned Phase 2 of Line 3 in the future.This station features split platforms, a unique feature in the Beijing Subway.

Beijing No. 5 High School (Chinese: 北京市第五中学, Chinese: 北京市第五中學) is a prestigious high school located at No.13 of Xiguan Hutong in Dongcheng District, Beijing, China. The school is on the list of the beacon high schools in Beijing and ranks in the top positions academically among high schools in Beijing. In recent years, almost all its new graduates enter universities, and nearly 95% of them into national key universities in China. The Branch of Beijing No.5 High School is the middle school affiliated with the high school. It is ranked top 3 among middle schools in Dongcheng District.

Khanbaliq or Dadu of Yuan (Chinese: 元大都) was the winter capital of the Yuan dynasty of China in what is now Beijing, the capital of China today. It was located at the center of modern Beijing. The Secretariat directly administered the Central Region (腹裏) of the Yuan dynasty (comprising present-day Beijing, Hebei, Shandong, Shanxi, and parts of Henan and Inner Mongolia) and dictated policies for the other provinces. As emperors of the Yuan dynasty, Kublai Khan and his successors also claimed supremacy over the entire Mongol Empire following the death of Möngke (Kublai's brother and predecessor) in 1259. Over time the unified empire gradually fragmented into a number of khanates. Khanbaliq is the direct predecessor to modern Beijing. Several stations of Line 10 and Line 13 are named after the gates of Dadu.

Jiaodaokou Subdistrict (Chinese: 交道口街道; pinyin: jiāodàokǒu jiēdào) is a subdistrict in Dongcheng District, Beijing, China. It contains 7 communities within 1.57 km2 of land, as of 2020 it has a permanent population of 31,951.The subdistrict was named after the Jiaodaokounan (Chinese: 交道口南; lit. 'South of Intersection') Avenue that is located in it.

China/Avant-Garde Exhibition is one of the most significant exhibitions in the history of Chinese contemporary art. Opening on February 5, 1989 at the National Art Museum of China (previously called the National Art Gallery), this exhibition included over 186 artists and approximately 300 artworks from all over China. Widely regarded as a pivotal moment in the history of contemporary Chinese art, the exhibition provided a comprehensive view of the experimental works that emerged in mainland China after 1985. Examples of experimental artworks included Xiao Lu's impromptu performance where the artist used a loaded handgun to shoot her own artwork called Dialogue and Wu Shanzhuan in his work called Big Business sold frozen shrimp in a makeshift market stand. These works, among others, led to the temporary closing of the exhibition.

Jingshan Subdistrict (Chinese: 景山街道; pinyin: jǐngshān jiēdào) is a subdistrict in Dongcheng District, Beijing, China. It contains 8 communities. The subdistrict has a total area of 1.64 squared kilometers, and as of 2020, it has a population of 25,374.The subdistrict received its current name from the Jingshan Park (Chinese: 景山公园; lit. 'Prospect Hill Park') that is located inside the subdistrict.

Di'anmen (Chinese: 地安門) or Bei'anmen was an imperial gate in Beijing, China. The gate was first built in the Yongle period of the Ming dynasty, and served as the main northern gate to the Imperial City (the southern gate is the much more famed Tiananmen). The gate is located north of Jingshan Park and south of the Drum Tower. The gate was demolished in 1954. Efforts to restore it have been under way since 2013.

Zhongguo Meishuguan (National Art Museum) station (simplified Chinese: 中国美术馆站; traditional Chinese: 中國美術館站; pinyin: Zhōngguó Měishùguǎn zhàn) is a station on Line 8 of the Beijing Subway. It was opened on December 30, 2018. This station served as the terminus of the North section of Line 8 until December 31, 2021. The station is named after the National Art Museum of China.

Shichahai (simplified Chinese: 什刹海站; traditional Chinese: 什剎海站; pinyin: Shíchàhǎi Zhàn) is a station on Line 8 of the Beijing Subway. The station opened on December 28, 2013. The station is named after Shichahai, a scenic area in Beijing.

Beijing Temple of Confucius (simplified Chinese: 北京孔庙; traditional Chinese: 北京孔廟; pinyin: Běijīng Kǒngmiào) is the second-largest Confucian temple in China, after the one in Confucius's hometown of Qufu.

Zhangzizhong Lu Station (simplified Chinese: 张自忠路站; traditional Chinese: 張自忠路站; pinyin: Zhāngzìzhōnglù Zhàn) is a station on Line 5 of the Beijing Subway. Zhangzizhonglu, literally meaning Zhang Zizhong Road, is named after general Zhang Zizhong, who died in the Second Sino-Japanese War. It will become a transfer station for Line 3 in the future.

The Beijing Guozijian (traditional Chinese: 北京國子監; simplified Chinese: 北京国子监; pinyin: Běijīng Guózǐjiān; Wade–Giles: Pei-ching Kuo-tzu-chien), located on Guozijian Street in Beijing, China, was China's national university during the Yuan, Ming and Qing dynasties, and the last Guozijian of China. Most of the Beijing Guozijian's buildings were built during the Ming Dynasty and it remains an important heritage site in China. During the Hundred Days' Reform of the Qing Dynasty, the education and administration of education functions of Guozijian was mainly replaced by the Imperial University of Peking (Jingshi Daxuetang), later known as Peking University. The Guozijian was shut down in 1905. The Guozijian, often translated into English as the Imperial Academy or Imperial College, was the national central institute of learning in ancient Chinese dynasties. It was the highest institute of learning in China's traditional educational system. Emperors in imperial China would also frequently visit the Guozijian to read Confucian classics to thousands of students.
