Drenovec pri Bukovju (pronounced [ˈdɾeːnɔʋəts pɾi ˈbuːkɔu̯ju]; German: Drenovetz) is a settlement in the Municipality of Brežice in eastern Slovenia. It lies in the hills above the right bank of the Sotla River, northeast of Bizeljsko, on the border with Croatia. The area is part of the traditional region of Lower Styria. It is now included with the rest of the municipality in the Lower Sava Statistical Region. The settlement includes the hamlets of Gornji Drenovec, Lipovec (German: Lipovetz), Trnje (German: Ternje), and Gornja Vas (Slovene: Gornja vas, in older sources Zgornja Vas, German: Oberdorf).

It includes the hamlets of Ciglanca (in older sources also Ciglonca, German: Ziegelstätte), Prekošnica, Stičnica, Maslarjev Breg, Podgrad, and Sračjek.

Orešje na Bizeljskem (pronounced [ɔˈɾeːʃjɛ na biˈzeːlskɛm]; German: Nussdorf) is a settlement northeast of Bizeljsko in the Municipality of Brežice in eastern Slovenia, right on the border with Croatia. A minor border crossing connects the settlement to the town of Klanjec on the Croatian side. The area is part of the traditional region of Styria. It is now included in the Lower Sava Statistical Region. The settlement includes the hamlets of Rupe, Kozja Peč, Sveta Marjeta, Kupce, Gabrk (German: Gaisberg), Bohor, Graben, Hrašina (also known locally as Trojno mesto), and Šefce (also known locally as Ledine).
