British Study Centres School of English

West London College (WLC) was an independent college of further and higher education specialising in the arts, design and fashion sectors. located on Manchester Street in the Mayfair and Marylebone district of Central London. The College was part of the British Study Centres Group of Colleges which included British Study Centres School of English, and Hove College. It had 400 enrolled students before its closure in 2017.

Monocle 24 is a mainly speech-based internet radio station, broadcasting from Monocle's headquarters at Midori House in London, England. On weekdays, the station produces three hours of live, current affairs-based programmes. It also broadcasts weekly shows on business; culture; design; food and hospitality; print media and urbanism. Music fills the rest of the schedule, hosted by Monocle staff. Monocle 24 was launched in October 2011 and broadcasts in English, primarily from London, but with an international focus. It is a brand extension of Monocle, a magazine founded in 2007 by Canadian journalist and entrepreneur Tyler Brûlé. Around 80% of listening is via download, 20% via live streaming. In 2016, the station reported a weekly listenership of about 1 million.

Paddington Street Gardens are two small public gardens located either side of Paddington Street in the Marylebone area of London. The larger south garden contains a children's playground.

The Chiltern Firehouse is a restaurant and hotel located at 1 Chiltern Street, Marylebone, London, England occupying the Grade II listed building of the former Marylebone Fire Station, also known as Manchester Square Fire Station. It is owned by André Balazs, a hotel chain owner, who also owns the Chateau Marmont in Los Angeles, California. The head chef is Nuno Mendes.

Paddington Street is a street in the City of Westminster in London that runs from the junction of Crawford Street and Baker Street in the east to Marylebone High Street in the west. Sherlock Mews, Chiltern Street, Luxborough Street, and Nottingham Place join Paddington Street on its north side. On the south side, Kenrick Place, Chiltern Street, and Ashland Place adjoin Paddington Street. The two open spaces of Paddington Street Gardens are situated on either side of the road. The Hellenic Centre is located at 16–18 Paddington Street.

Colony, or Colony Bar and Grill is a restaurant, bar and grill located at 7–9 Paddington Street, Marylebone, Central London, England. It opened in early April 2010 and was run by restaurateur Carlo Spetale and the Michelin-starred executive chef Atul Kochhar.Atul Kocchar announced he was leaving the business in June 2011 to focus on other interests. The split was described as amicable.The cuisine of the restaurant is inspired by that of the British colonies from colonial Asia, East Africa, the Caribbean etc. but is mainly inspired by Indian street food, specifically "the marinades, aromatic flavours and grilling methods" of the street traders of colonial Asia. The General Manager of the restaurant is John Lacombe, formerly of The Connaught Hotel, 5th Floor Restaurant at Harvey Nichols and Notting Hill Brasserie amongst others. Lacombe is also responsible for the winery of the restaurant. It has a reputable cocktail lounge.

The Barley Mow is a grade II listed pub located at 8 Dorset Street, Marylebone, London, W1.It is on the Campaign for Real Ale's National Inventory of Historic Pub Interiors. Public houses on this list have remained relatively unchanged since World War II or at least for the past thirty years. It was built in 1791 and is rumored to be the longest standing building in Marylebone. It is also one of the last remaining free houses in central London. The Barley Mow is a pub with listed wooden booth seating, occasional live music and Saturday quizzes.

Chiltern Street is a road in the Marylebone area of Central London. Located in the City of Westminster, it runs north to south connecting Marylebone Road and Blandford Street. Baker Street runs parallel a little way to the west. It meets Dorset Street, Crawford Street and Paddington Street along its route. Manchester Square is located beyond the southern end of the street. It is part of the Portman Estate and dates back to the eighteenth century. Historically it was known as East Street, with the name changing in 1937. Until the second half of the nineteenth century it didn't run as far north as the Marylebone Road, with the short David Street and buildings blocking the route. It is one of several streets and buildings in the area with names linked to the Chiltern Hills, which were connected to Marylebone from both the Metropolitan Line and the Great Central Railway from Marylebone Station. The street shares its name with the Chiltern Court building over Baker Street tube station which was planned in 1912 but not fully constructed until the 1920s after wartime delays. An entrance to the station is located on the junction between Chiltern Street and Marylebone Road. The street features a mixture of commercial and residential buildings. At the southern end is the 1899 Grade II listed Chiltern Firehouse, formerly the Marylebone Fire Station and now converted into a restaurant. In 1864 a Welsh Methodist Chapel was opened in the street. A particular feature is the large redbrick Portman Mansions constructed in the 1890s at the northern end of the street. Notable residents of the street have included Henry Segrave the world land speed record holder in the 1920s, who is now commemorated with a blue plaque.

The Church of the Good Shepherd & The St. Marylebone Church Institute & Club is a grade II listed building in Paddington Street in the City of Westminster.

The Kashmir Klub was a non-profit making, live music club that operated in central London, England between 1997 and 2003. It was located at 6 Nottingham Place, in the basement of a restaurant and bar called "Fabrizio" at the "Baker and Oven".The club was started in November 1997 by musician and early Iron Maiden member Tony Moore to provide a different approach to discovering, developing and promoting the best signed and unsigned artists available, and to create a "fertile, creative and spontaneous" atmosphere. The name was inspired by the Led Zeppelin track "Kashmir". Moore loved the track and also the band. He said "It seemed to me that Led Zeppelin covered nearly every genre of music in their time, from rock to acoustic. So I thought "The Kashmir Klub" would be perfect."

Nottingham Street is a street in the City of Westminster, London, that runs from Marylebone High Street in the east to Luxborough Street in the west. It is crossed by Nottingham Place. Bingham Place and Oldbury Place join it on the north side.
