Leander station

Leander ( lee-AN-dər) is a city in Williamson and Travis counties in the U.S. state of Texas. The population was 26,521 at the 2010 census, and 59,202 at the 2020 census. A suburb just north of Austin, and part of the Greater Austin metropolitan area, it was the fastest-growing city in the United States between 2018 and 2019.

Rouse High School was established in 2008 by the Leander Independent School District in Leander, Texas to relieve overcrowding in the quickly growing district. It is named after Charles Rouse, a former principal at Leander High School. When the school first opened in 2008, it had only a freshman class (9th grade). However, in its fourth year, the school was opened to seniors, juniors, sophomores, and freshman, which eventually lead to them growing to a 5A classification under the UIL format. In 2011, the school was rated "Academically Acceptable" by the Texas Education Agency. By 2015 it had an enrollment of 2,391 students.

Leander High School is a secondary school in Leander, Texas, United States, and is part of the Leander Independent School District. It was established in 1983 and was the only high school in district, until the establishment of Cedar Park High School in 1998. The school has a freshman enrollment of 600 students and is accredited by the Texas Education Agency. Historically the school served a mainly rural population, but starting in the early 1990s the area experienced growth due to expansion of high tech industries in the nearby Austin area. In 1999, the school became an International Baccalaureate school. As of 2017, the school principal is Chris Simpson. The school's mascots are Leo the Lion and Leah the Lioness. The school colors are blue, white, and red.

H-E-B Center at Cedar Park is an indoor arena located in Cedar Park, Texas, near Austin. Originally named the Cedar Park Center, the arena is home to the Texas Stars of the American Hockey League and the Austin Spurs of the NBA G League.The 8,700-seat sports arena is located at the corner of 183A and New Hope Road in Cedar Park, Texas. The city of Cedar Park owns the arena, which is operated by Texas Stars L.P., a division of Northland Properties, the owner of the Dallas Stars and Texas Stars. Since opening, the arena has hosted sporting events, concerts and high school graduations.

Leander Independent School District is a school district based in Leander, Texas (USA) and covering a total of 200 square miles (520 km2) in Leander, Cedar Park, Georgetown, Jonestown, Round Rock in Williamson County and northwest Austin in Travis County. In 2015, the school district was rated "Met Standards" by the Texas Education Agency.The district has a "CollegeConnection" arrangement with Austin Community College.As of 2013 LISD covers 25.6 square miles (66 km2) of land within the City of Austin, making up 8% of the city's territory.

Santa Rita is a planned community and census-designated place (CDP) in Williamson County, Texas, United States. It was first listed as a CDP during the 2020 census. It sits on 3,100-acres It is in the western part of the county, 11 miles (18 km) west of Georgetown, the county seat, and 6 miles (10 km) northeast of Liberty Hill. Ronald Reagan Boulevard, a western bypass of the Georgetown area, is the main road through the CDP.

The Liberty Hill International Sculpture Park resides in Liberty Hill, Texas. The Sculpture Garden is the result of an International Sculpture Symposium held in the town in 1976. There are currently 27 pieces created by various artists from 6 different countries, including, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Canada, and the United States. The symposium project won the town of Liberty Hill the first Texas Arts Award for a city with a population under 100,000 in 1977.

Vista Ridge High School (VRHS) is a high school in Cedar Park, Texas. The school was established in 2003 to serve as the 3rd high school in the Leander Independent School District, graduating its Alpha class June 2007. The school was built due to the rapid growth in the area, and continues to grow with the recent construction of its auditorium and John Gupton Stadium. Vista Ridge is a part of the 6A UIL Conference as of the 2021 - 2022 school year.
