Leander Independent School District

Nameless (also known as Cross Creek or Fairview) is a populated place in Travis County, Texas.

Leander High School is a secondary school in Leander, Texas, United States, and is part of the Leander Independent School District. It was established in 1983 and was the only high school in district, until the establishment of Cedar Park High School in 1998. The school has a freshman enrollment of 600 students and is accredited by the Texas Education Agency. Historically the school served a mainly rural population, but starting in the early 1990s the area experienced growth due to expansion of high tech industries in the nearby Austin area. In 1999, the school became an International Baccalaureate school. As of 2017, the school principal is Chris Simpson. The school's mascots are Leo the Lion and Leah the Lioness. The school colors are blue, white, and red.

Leander ( lee-AN-dər) is a city in Williamson and Travis counties in the U.S. state of Texas. The population was 26,521 at the 2010 census, and 59,202 at the 2020 census. A suburb just north of Austin, and part of the Greater Austin metropolitan area, it was the fastest-growing city in the United States between 2018 and 2019.

Leander is a Capital MetroRail commuter rail station and park and ride in Leander, Texas. The park and ride portion of it, designed by McKinney York Architects, was built in 2007 and is located on Highway 183 just north of FM 2243 and is the northern terminus of the Red Line. Leander is one of two stations located within Williamson County alongside Lakeline as opposed to Travis County which contains the other seven locations. Leander Station includes a park and ride with 600 spaces. With Lakeline serving as a midday and Saturday terminus for many trains in service, Leander is only serviced by the Red Line during weekday rush hours and late Friday nights.

Round Mountain is an unincorporated community in Travis County, in the U.S. state of Texas. According to the Handbook of Texas, the community had a population of 59 in 2000. It is located within the Greater Austin metropolitan area.

Jonestown is a city in Travis County, Texas, United States on the north shore of Lake Travis. The population was 1,834 at the 2010 census.

Cedar Park is a city and a major suburb of Austin in the state of Texas, approximately 16 miles (26 km) to the north-west of the center of Austin. According to the U.S. Census, the city's estimated population as of July 2019 was 79,462.

H-E-B Center at Cedar Park is an indoor arena located in Cedar Park, Texas, near Austin. Originally named the Cedar Park Center, the arena is home to the Texas Stars of the American Hockey League and the Austin Spurs of the NBA G League.The 8,700-seat sports arena is located at the corner of 183A and New Hope Road in Cedar Park, Texas. The city of Cedar Park owns the arena, which is operated by Texas Stars L.P., a division of Northland Properties, the owner of the Dallas Stars and Texas Stars. Since opening, the arena has hosted sporting events, concerts and high school graduations.

Jenks Branch, also known as the Miller Community, was a freedmens colony located between the modern towns of Leander and Liberty Hill in Williamson County, Texas. The community began when Milas Miller, a formerly enslaved man, purchased land in 1870 near the Jenks Branch Creek on the south side of the San Gabriel River. By 1880 he owned over 1000 acres of land.

Rouse High School was established in 2008 by the Leander Independent School District in Leander, Texas to relieve overcrowding in the quickly growing district. It is named after Charles Rouse, a former principal at Leander High School. When the school first opened in 2008, it had only a freshman class (9th grade). However, in its fourth year, the school was opened to seniors, juniors, sophomores, and freshman, which eventually lead to them growing to a 5A classification under the UIL format. In 2011, the school was rated "Academically Acceptable" by the Texas Education Agency. By 2015 it had an enrollment of 2,391 students.

Summit Christian Academy is a private, non-denominational Christian school for PreK-3 through 12th grade students. It is located in Cedar Park, TX and serves the Williamson County and Austin, Texas area. Summit Christian Academy offers a core curriculum as well as Spanish for elementary students and Dual Credit and Advanced Placement courses, to include AP Art, for secondary students. An Innovation Center established in 2020 fosters the habits of mind and critical thinking skills necessary to prepare students to be leaders. In conjunction, students are taught Technology Foundations and may take electives in Engineering and Computer Science. Paul Austin, Lego Mindstorm Developer and retired National Instruments Chief Architect instructs Computer Science courses. Impact is Summit Christian Academy’s program to prepare students to impact others for Christ, particularly through service. This begins at the elementary level with projects and exercises that spotlight God's love for all people, the importance of prayer, and the impact service can have on the world. At the secondary level, students explore what it means to live as Christians and engage in service in partnership with local community ministries as well as on short term missions trips. Thirteen varsity athletic teams compete for Summit in the Texas Association of Private and Parochial Schools league. Varsity sports include 6-man football, girls volleyball, boys and girls cross country, boys and girls basketball, boys and girls track & field, boys and girls tennis, boys and girls golf and baseball. Intermediate and elementary sports beginning in 4th grade are also available. The school mascot is an eagle.

Cedar Park High School (CPHS) is a high school in Cedar Park, Texas; it was established in 1998 to serve as the second high school in the Leander Independent School District. The school was built due to the rapid growth in the area. The school's mascot is the Timberwolf, and the colors of CPHS are Forest Green, Silver, and Black. Cedar Park High School competes in UIL district. CPHS is well known for the performance of its football team, drill team, choir, and Timberwolf Band.
