The Liberty Hill International Sculpture Park resides in Liberty Hill, Texas. The Sculpture Garden is the result of an International Sculpture Symposium held in the town in 1976. There are currently 27 pieces created by various artists from 6 different countries, including, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Canada, and the United States. The symposium project won the town of Liberty Hill the first Texas Arts Award for a city with a population under 100,000 in 1977.

Liberty Hill High School is a public high school serving students grades 9–12 located in Williamson County, Texas, United States, 3⁄4 of a mile from Liberty Hill and 30 miles northwest of Austin. It is attended by students residing in the city of Liberty Hill, although most students reside in unincorporated areas of Williamson County. It is one of the three secondary schools and only high school within the Liberty Hill Independent School District. It is part of UIL region 5A. In 2022, the school received a "B" rating from the Texas Education Agency.

Jenks Branch, also known as the Miller Community, was a freedmens colony located between the modern towns of Leander and Liberty Hill in Williamson County, Texas. The community began when Milas Miller, a formerly enslaved man, purchased land in 1870 near the Jenks Branch Creek on the south side of the San Gabriel River. By 1880 he owned over 1000 acres of land.

Santa Rita is a planned community and census-designated place (CDP) in Williamson County, Texas, United States. It was first listed as a CDP during the 2020 census. It sits on 3,100-acres It is in the western part of the county, 11 miles (18 km) west of Georgetown, the county seat, and 6 miles (10 km) northeast of Liberty Hill. Ronald Reagan Boulevard, a western bypass of the Georgetown area, is the main road through the CDP.

Leander is a Capital MetroRail commuter rail station and park and ride in Leander, Texas. The park and ride portion of it, designed by McKinney York Architects, was built in 2007 and is located on Highway 183 just north of FM 2243 and is the northern terminus of the Red Line. Leander is one of two stations located within Williamson County alongside Lakeline as opposed to Travis County which contains the other seven locations. Leander Station includes a park and ride with 600 spaces. With Lakeline serving as a midday and Saturday terminus for many trains in service, Leander is only serviced by the Red Line during weekday rush hours and late Friday nights.

KGSR broadcasts in the HD Radio format - its HD2 subchannel broadcasts Austin City Limits Radio, a freeform format inspired by the Austin City Limits television series and music festival. KGSR-HD2 is also broadcast on FM translator 97.1 K246BD in Austin, which was formerly carried on KGSR's main signal. KGSR-HD3 broadcasts The Party, a dance format launched in September 2021 before rebranding on January 18, 2022.

Leander Independent School District is a school district based in Leander, Texas (USA) and covering a total of 200 square miles (520 km2) in Leander, Cedar Park, Georgetown, Jonestown, Round Rock in Williamson County and northwest Austin in Travis County. In 2015, the school district was rated "Met Standards" by the Texas Education Agency.The district has a "CollegeConnection" arrangement with Austin Community College.As of 2013 LISD covers 25.6 square miles (66 km2) of land within the City of Austin, making up 8% of the city's territory.

Rouse High School was established in 2008 by the Leander Independent School District in Leander, Texas to relieve overcrowding in the quickly growing district. It is named after Charles Rouse, a former principal at Leander High School. When the school first opened in 2008, it had only a freshman class (9th grade). However, in its fourth year, the school was opened to seniors, juniors, sophomores, and freshman, which eventually lead to them growing to a 5A classification under the UIL format. In 2011, the school was rated "Academically Acceptable" by the Texas Education Agency. By 2015 it had an enrollment of 2,391 students.

Leander High School is a secondary school in Leander, Texas, United States, and is part of the Leander Independent School District. It was established in 1983 and was the only high school in district, until the establishment of Cedar Park High School in 1998. The school has a freshman enrollment of 600 students and is accredited by the Texas Education Agency. Historically the school served a mainly rural population, but starting in the early 1990s the area experienced growth due to expansion of high tech industries in the nearby Austin area. In 1999, the school became an International Baccalaureate school. As of 2017, the school principal is Chris Simpson. The school's mascots are Leo the Lion and Leah the Lioness. The school colors are blue, white, and red.
