St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church is located in Bayonne, Hudson County, New Jersey, United States. It is an active parish of the Archdiocese of Newark, in Deanery 13. It is noted for its historic parish church, which was added to the National Register of Historic Places on August 24, 2011. The parish was established in 1894, primarily serving Irish, Scottish and German immigrants in the area. In 1905, the congregation moved from the rented hall it had been using to a new wooden Gothic Revival church. In 1927, work began on the current Lombardy Romanesque church, which was completed in 1930.

Marist High School was a private Roman Catholic co-educational college preparatory secondary school located in Bayonne, New Jersey, United States, and operated by the Marist Brothers of the Schools, an international religious congregation of educators with schools in over 70 countries. It was located within the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Newark. The school had been accredited by the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Elementary and Secondary Schools since 1978.As of the 2017–18 school year, the school had an enrollment of 309 students and 24 classroom teachers (on an FTE basis), for a student–teacher ratio of 12.9:1. The school's student body was 42.4% (131) Black, 20.7% (64) Asian, 16.5% (51) White, 13.9% (43) Hispanic and 5.5% (17) two or more races.Despite plans to convert it into a middle school and sports complex, the school was demolished in 2022 due to a lack of funds for lead and asbestos remediation.

Rutowski Park is a municipal park and preserve in Bayonne, New Jersey. It is located at the northeastern end of the city near the mouth of the Hackensack River at Newark Bay south of New Jersey Route 440. It is a component of the Hackensack RiverWalk and is connected by footpath to Stephen R. Gregg Park—Hudson County Park. The park encompasses 40 acres (0.16 km2). and includes a boardwalk through the wetlands preservation area and remnants of the Electric Launch Company. Opened in 2006, it is named for former Mayor of Bayonne (1990–1994), Richard Rutowski.

Yeshiva Gedolah of Bayonne is an Orthodox Jewish yeshiva in Bayonne, New Jersey. Established in 1990, it includes high school, beis medrash, and kollel programs. The school caters to serious students, who dorm on-site. The languages of instruction are English and Yiddish.

Curries Woods is a neighborhood in the southern part of Greenville in Jersey City, New Jersey bordering Bayonne. It was named after James Curie, who was on the town Committee for Greenville when it was its own Township in the 19th century. The area remained rural until the later part of the century when the Central Railroad of New Jersey built a line connecting ferries to Elizabeth, New Jersey and New York City. Currie's Woods still remained untouched through the late part of the century and it was valued for its woods, rocky shore and dunes on Newark Bay. A lot of the land was eventually lost, but a tract was set aside in the early part of the 20th century. A small cemetery, the Old Greenville Cemetery, was nearby. This park lost much of its land to the city's largest Housing Authority project in 1959, except a small tract in Bayonne, Mercer Park.

CarePoint Health Bayonne Medical Center is a hospital in Bayonne, New Jersey. It has 278 beds and was founded in 1888. One of six hospitals in Hudson County, the Bayonne Medical Center is affiliated with Hoboken University Medical Center and Christ Hospital, which are also operated by the for-profit organization Hudson Hospital Opco.The hospital became the subject of media coverage in 2013 when, in the midst of nationwide controversy over inconsistent hospital charges, The New York Times reported that the hospital "charged the highest amounts in the country for nearly one-quarter of the most common hospital treatments", which the Times associated with its 2008 restructuring after being acquired out of bankruptcy the previous year. In the same year, the hospital was ordered to award a "whistleblower" $2.1 million for being fired.According to a study conducted by National Nurses United and released in January 2014, the hospital was the 9th most expensive in the state, charging 763% above costs.Bayonne Medical Center entered the national spotlight again in 2014, when an investigative news team at NBC 4 New York reported that the hospital charged a New Jersey teacher nearly US$9,000 to bandage his middle finger. In 2015 a follow-up investigation covered the story of a Bayonne resident who was charged over $17,000 for stitches on a two-inch cut.The sale of hospital and the property on which it is located has been a matter of controversy. The city has considered eminent domain to settle the matter.

St. Henry's Church is a Roman Catholic church on Avenue C between 28th.and 29th. Street in Bayonne, New Jersey. The parish was founded in 1889 by 50 German immigrant families from Bavaria and was named after Emperor Henry II of the Holy Roman Empire. It is one of the first Catholic parishes in Bayonne and is part of the Archdiocese of Newark.

Country Village is a residential enclave in the southwestern corner of the Greenville section on the West Side of Jersey City, New Jersey that was built as planned community in the early 1960s.
