Las Palmas Atlético is the reserve team of UD Las Palmas, club based in Las Palmas, in the autonomous community of the Canary Islands. They play in Tercera Federación – Group 12, holding home games at Anexo del Estadio Gran Canaria, which holds 2,000 spectators.The team is officially known as Las Palmas Atlético on the club's official promotion and website, but the rules of the Liga de Fútbol Profesional prohibit B teams from having different names to their parent.

Estadio Insular was a multi-use stadium in Las Palmas, Spain. It was initially used as the stadium of UD Las Palmas matches before Estadio Gran Canaria opened in 2003. The stadium held 21,000 people and was built in 1945. Estadio Insular was closed in 2003 and partially demolished in 2014.

The Palacete Rodríguez Quegles is a mansion, or small palace, in Las Palmas, capital of Gran Canaria island, in the Canary Islands of Spain. It was built around 1901 as an elaborate residence for a wealthy businessman, then in 1972 sold to the city of Las Palmas for use as a music conservatory. The restored building is now a cultural center.

Jardín Botánico Canario Viera y Clavijo is the full name of the botanical garden on Gran Canaria, one of the Canary Islands. "Jardín Botánico Canario" means "Botanical Garden of the Canaries", while the additional words "Viera y Clavijo" honor the pioneering Spanish cleric and scholar José Viera y Clavijo (1731–1813), who attempted to found a botanical garden in the Canary Islands in the late eighteenth century. The Botanical Garden Viera y Clavijo is located in the northeast of Gran Canaria, in Tafira Alta, approximately 7 kilometers southwest of the capital city Las Palmas. Thus it is located inland from Las Palmas, a few kilometers away from Santa Brígida.

El Museo Canario (English: the Canarian Museum) is an archeological museum in Las Palmas, the capital city of Gran Canaria in the Canary Islands. It is dedicated to the pre-colonial history of the Canary Islands.

Centro Insular de Deportes is an indoor arena in Las Palmas, Spain. It was the home arena of the Spanish ACB League professional basketball team Gran Canaria until 2014. The arena holds 5,200 people.
