Narberth station (SEPTA)

The Philadelphia Surgery Center is a medical facility in Narberth, Pennsylvania, that specializes in small-scale endoscopic spine surgery for the treatment of spinal stenosis and herniated or fragmented spinal discs.

Narberth is a borough in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania, United States. It is one of many neighborhoods on the historic Pennsylvania Main Line. The population was 4,282 at the 2010 census.

American Poetry Center was founded in 1983 to bring the Spoken Word to a wide range of audiences. All programs were created, developed and implemented by Margaret Chew Barringer, under the auspices of the Pennsylvania Council on the Arts. For its first decade, Jerome J. Shestack, Esq. chaired the non-profit organization. In 2005, the organization legally changed its name to American INSIGHT as it prepared to reach new audiences through the latest advances in all-digital historic archival research, video production techniques, and Internet-based delivery systems.

American INSIGHT is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization registered in the State of Pennsylvania.

In southeastern Pennsylvania on April 4, 1991, a Piper Aerostar propeller-driven aircraft collided in mid-air with a Bell 412 helicopter over Merion Elementary School in Lower Merion Township, a suburb northwest of Philadelphia. All five people in both aircraft were killed, including United States Senator John Heinz, the sole passenger of the Piper. Two school children on the ground were also killed by falling debris. In addition to the seven fatalities, five more people on the ground were injured. An investigation discovered the cause of the accident to be poor judgment and pilot error of the crews from both aircraft.

Narbrook Park Historic District, also known as Narberth Garden, is a national historic district located in Narberth, Montgomery County, Pennsylvania. It encompasses 51 contributing buildings, one contributing structure and one contributing site in the planned garden suburb of Narbrook Park. It was developed between 1915 and 1938. The dwellings reflect a number of popular architectural styles primarily Bungalow / American Craftsman and Dutch Colonial Revival. The community features 35 detached houses and dedicated open space.It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2003.

The Merion Friends Meeting House is an active and historic Quaker meeting house at 615 Montgomery Avenue in Merion Station, Pennsylvania. Completed about 1715, it is the second oldest Friends meeting house in the United States (after the Third Haven Meeting House in Maryland), with distinctively Welsh architectural features that distinguish it from later meeting houses. It is home to the Merion monthly meeting. The meeting house was declared a National Historic Landmark in 1999.

The General Wayne Inn in Merion, Pennsylvania is a former tavern. It has been on the National Register of Historic Places since 1976. Established in 1704, it was previously named the William Penn Inn, Wayside Inn, Tunis Ordinary, and Streepers Tavern before being renamed in 1793 in honor of American Revolutionary War hero General "Mad" Anthony Wayne, who had once stayed there.

Wynnewood is a suburban unincorporated community, west of Philadelphia, that straddles Lower Merion Township, Montgomery County and Haverford Township, Delaware County, Pennsylvania, United States. It was named in 1691 for Dr. Thomas Wynne, William Penn's physician and the first Speaker of the Pennsylvania General Assembly. Wynnewood is one of many neighborhoods on the historic Pennsylvania Main Line, and is the home of institutions such as Lankenau Hospital, St. Charles Borromeo Seminary, Palmer Theological Seminary, All Saints' Episcopal Church, and Friends' Central School.

Maybrook is a mansion and property located in Wynnewood, Lower Merion Township, Pennsylvania in the Main Line suburban region just outside of Philadelphia. The mansion was built in 1881 as a summer home by liquor baron and real estate developer Henry C. Gibson and his wife, Mary B. Klett and six-year-old daughter Mary Klett "May" Gibson. Gibson named the property for his little daughter and the brook that runs through it.

Wynnewood station is a SEPTA Regional Rail station in Wynnewood, Pennsylvania. It is located at Wynnewood and Penn Roads in Philadelphia's western suburbs, and is served by most Paoli/Thorndale Line trains with the exception of several express runs. The station was built in 1870 by the Wilson Brothers architectural firm for the Pennsylvania Railroad, and is one of the historic station buildings on the line built before 1930. The station offers a small retail space, which is currently unused. The space was formerly occupied by Main Line Baking Company (2010-2016), Pup's Cafe (2009), Quaker Coffee (2005 - 2008), and Irish Bake Shoppe (1999 - 2005). The ticket office at this station is open weekdays 6:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. (excluding holidays). There are 239 daily and permit parking spaces at the station. This station is 7.4 track miles from Suburban Station. In 2017, the average total weekday boardings at this station was 765, and the average total weekday alightings was 561.

Waldron Mercy Academy is a K-8 Catholic private elementary school, sponsored by the Sisters of Mercy and located in the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Philadelphia, located in Merion Station, Pennsylvania, USA. The school is accredited by the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools and has twice won National Blue Ribbon School recognition (in 2001 and 2009) by the United States Department of Education.
